“This is an Amazing restaurant/Cafe right on Main Street in Downtown Stillwater. Excellent food every time I have visited here. They have a great variety of different types of food to choose from for either breakfast or lunch. Steak, burgers, or Gyros for breakfast? Count me in! The service is always terrific. Prices are reasonable. The food comes out fantastic and quick. Best breakfast spot in Stillwater.”
“Our server was perfectly attentive without being overwhelming! Great food. Good drinks. An enjoyable Sunday night for casual dinner and drinks with a friend. The cheese curds are literally the best I've ever had outside of the State Fair.”
“This is the best pizza outside of NYC. It is true, Brooklyn pizza with true old country ingredients and it is well worth the price. Keep up the great work and open one on the wisconsin side of the boarderParking: Can be a challenge to park during the summer tourist season, but will be worth the walk from wherever you can find a place to park”
“Great tasting old fashioned home made cheeseburgers and nice thick crinkle cut French fries ,and of course yummy old fashioned malts , delicious and worth another trip soon !!! ?”
“Never been here before. Needed a nice late Sunday dinner. Signature cocktails were great. Had the beet salad, black and blue burger and the big meatball. Really good.”
“I can't say enough about this place. We came here for my birthday dinner on the recommendation of a relative. I made a reservation and we were seated promptly at a cute window table. Our server made great wine recommendations, based on what we planned to order for dinner and her personal favorites. She took into account any budgetary requirements. The wine was absolutely delightful. We ordered charcuterie, which was just the right amount without taking away our appetite for dinner. The pasta dishes are incredible. Our favorite was the orecchiette which had a Bolognese sauce. The desserts were exactly the right size that we could each order our own and were so delicious. We can't wait to come back!”
“I like to get a Reuben now and then and feel like I'm always gambling when I get it for the first time at a place that's new to me, but this one was excellent. The fries were really good too. I love a good carrot cake, so I tried a piece. It was pretty good but not quite five stars in my opinion. Being my first time, it took me a little bit to figure out there was self-service for condiments and napkins. (One clue was when they brought my food out and didn't ask if I needed ketchup.) It's a little pricier than I normally like to spend for lunch, but I would definitely go there again for the Reuben in particular and for a good environment to meet someone for coffee or lunch.”
“I love been to a few nutrition shake shops in the Washington County/St. Criox County area and this plce provided good service and pricing. I appreciated the help with choosing my tea flavor and getting exactly what I was craving. The variety of flavor options and the consistency of the shake was much better than other places I’ve been near by.Dietary restrictions: Gestational Diabetes friendly”
“I’m not one to gate keep, so I’m going to scream from the rooftop that EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO HANG OUT AT MATT’S BASEMENT! There’s seriously no place like it. Not only are the boba tea and waffle options to die for, but Matt’s also holds game nights, offers old school game rentals, puts on $2 movie nights with the most delicious popcorn, and the owner and his girlfriend are hands down the coolest people I’ve ever met. Do yourself a favor and check out Matt’s basement next time you’re hanging out downtown Stillwater!”
“I recently visited for a Saturday lunch, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! Despite being busy, the service was impressively fast, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The only downside was the small interior, which made it a bit loud, especially during peak hours. However, it's perfect for groups of six or under, with an ideal size for 2-4 people. I tried the Lilo burger, which was delicious but quite spicy due to the ghost cheese. My partner opted for the chicken tacos and couldn't stop raving about them. However, the real star of the show was the smoked salt fries - they were absolutely phenomenal! If you're looking for a lively spot for lunch in Stillwater, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's perfect for a fun day out!”
“Our go-to place for take-out Chinese food. Tastes great, the order is always right, and never disappoints. The amount of food is right on for the price. Other places may give you more but I doubt it'll taste as good! Plus the family running it are some of the nicest and hardest working people I know.”
“Decided to finally try this place. I was not disappointed! The artichoke dip is cheesy and creamy. The burger is full of flavor in every bite. My ma loved the fried walleye and chips. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They didn't rush us and was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We will definitely be back!”
“Overall, ciders were pretty sweet. Maybe one tart cider. We tried all 12 in a flight. If you're looking for sweet, not tart or dry, then this is the place for you. Lots of other none cider/alcoholic items for purchase too, like meat sticks, apple butter, jams, honey comb, etc. Wine tasting next door. Coffee and jalapeño/cilantro/lime ciders were interesting. If you're like my wife, perhaps too difficult to overcome.”
“Great vibe, great food, and friendly staff.Parking: There are free lots and street spaces nearby the restaurant, but the restaurant does not have its own parking lot.”
“Located in a cool old building with views of the st Croix, definitely recommend if you're visiting the city. Many burger options and a huge bourbon/whiskey list, including changing flights with pairings. Yeti was a great server.”
