I’m not one to gate keep, so I’m going to scream from the rooftop that EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO HANG OUT AT MATT’S BASEMENT! There’s seriously no place like it. Not only are the boba tea and waffle options to die for, but Matt’s also holds game nights, offers old school game rentals, puts on $2 movie nights with the most delicious popcorn, and the owner and his girlfriend are hands down the coolest people I’ve ever met. Best chill, kick spot with plenty of different different games, board games, electronic games, as well as a piano to play on! The drinks are yummy too! I hope this place sticks around for a long time, because there’s nowhere like it! Super peaceful on winter evenings and around summertime. It gets busy but it’s always a good crowd! Such an amazing place to hangout! A group of 3 of us were there for a majority of the afternoon/evening to play Magic, Genshin and read. The food and boba were absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was so cozy and welcoming! And the owner's were very sweet! Definitely would recommend this place and will be coming back soon!
