“Was in the mood for tuna bowl or some sort of bowl that was healthy and we happened to be down the street the Honey Bee when this place came up and saw that I had 37 minutes to get there and get my bowl lol.This place is hidden in a corner and can't see it so you have to know where to look....I passed it once But we walked in on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30. My daughter and I were planning on ordering and taking it to go since they close at 2. But, the lady(assuming owner) was inviting, didn't seemed bothered that we came in right before closing so we ordered our food to dine in.Daughter got their squid fried sticks and chicken tenders (she's 9 don't judge lol). She liked both of them and said were very good. I did try a bit of her chicken tenders and chicken was fresh not dried....wasn't expecting much for tendies but was impressed. I of course got the beef bulgogi with the egg on top. It was so good and extremely filling! We even ordered the chicken tenders at 1:47 at our food and was out by 2! I also over heard the lady literally taking a to go order with 5 minutes before closing. I love how accommodating and kind she was. The kinda service that makes me def want to come back and want to dry their other stuff. Def recommend giving it a try. It's nothing fancy.....food is served on to go containers, paper plates, plastic cups, etc. the chairs weigh a ton lol. But the food and service is top notch“

“Wonderful food. Elegantly presented sashimi, sushi, takoyaki, gyoza, udon, don buri (bowls of food), and other Japanese options. Many many types of sushi rolls. In total, there is not only more than standard Japanese fare, but it is also delicious, high quality, and beautifully presented. Many different sakes, mixed drinks, and Japanese beers along with international Gin, bourbon, tequila, rum options. They even have Japanese soda pop. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely decor with exquisite hand painted scenes. I had been there once before and couldn’t wait to go back for seconds to show my adult son who also, this day enjoyed his food immensely.“
“I have come here several times over the past several years. Today I noticed they were slammed. I took note of everyone working the front including the cook running in and out. Despite a rush, everyone was still very good spirited and polite. I was just sitting back waiting my turn and thinking I should take this time to make a review. “I absolutely loved this place, The atmosphere is excellent and the service is perfect. Came in got seat, got food in less than 10mins, ate and left. Sushi was good and my wife's teriyaki chicken wasn't dry which is common at most sushi places. Highly recommend!!!“

It is run out of an unassuming location, but the food is delicious, the pricing represents excellent value, the waitstaff are polite and attentive, and the restaurant is kept very clean. Those who have eaten at Sushi Ai will probably find this restaurant similar in many ways. It's a great spot to grab a healthy lunch for just a little more than the cost of fast food ($12.99 for 2 rolls, 2 additional sushi pieces, and an appetizer).“

“Solid restaurant. If you want to enjoy the whole experience, you can go and check out the Teppanyaki grill. If you're more of a people watcher or on a date, you can sit back in a booth and still enjoy the good food in a little bit more of an intimate setting. If you have a birthday they come out and play a little tune for you.. it's pretty funny. The cheese wontons are a great starter and you can order what you would get from the Teppanyaki Grill brought straight to your table. Everything here is solid. Wait staff is usually cool and right on time. They work together well as far as expediting. Not the cleanest restaurant but they get really busy so I its understandable.“
“Food was ok. Ordered the Honey Roll which I always order. I've ordered it from the O'Fallon and Saint Charles Sushi AI and it's been perfect. First time ordering from the Arnold location. It was horrible. All cream cheese, no crab or honey. I've tried to email, 4 times and call. Haven't gotten any response. As someone in the industry I never complain, but I was so upset after spending $50 in food and not getting what we wanted.Edit: I've sent your email address 2 different emails and have had no response. I'm very frustrated and disappointed.Edit: They contacted me and made things right. Thank you all for making things right and your amazing food and service!“
