“Great little ice cream shop. Good amount of seating. There's also a beautiful park with benches across the street. We all loved our chosen flavors: maple bourbon, coffee, honey lavender, and blue moon. Great service!Definitely will be back when we're in the area again.”
“I tried Jody B's for the first time tonight not a big fan of the side " potato salad and baked beans and greenbeens, but the ribs and pork steak was fire ? I'll definitely be going back.”
“Waited 45 mins just to find out my food that I had already paid for hadn’t even been sent back to cook. How does this happen ? Mind you I checked on my order 20 mins after I placed and was told not ready just yet but it never was even cooking . Ended up being there for the over a hour for a burger”
“The service that I received was A1. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The St. Paul was probably the best I've ever had. The ingredients seemed very fresh and they sprinkled a little salt on top of the St. Paul patty which was a pleasant surprise for my taste buds. The hot braised chicken is good. The crab rangoon is really good. The fried rice isn't anything to brag about in my opinion though it's not bad by any means. It's a mix between the cities dark fried rice and the county's typical light colored rice. I'd probably opt for steamed white rice next time. My only complaint is that there was a man sitting inside asking everyone for money. He wasn't rude by any means but it made me uncomfortable. With all that said, I'd still go back because the food was really good overall.”
“Cymone was awesome catfish filets was good cooked to perfection fluffy and crispy at the same time that was 10. I also had a Philly when I say it was packed with meat and so flavorful steak and shrimp that was a 10 I will definitely be back! Thank you for your great customer service as well! I love supporting black businesses! Please got check her out at the old nephews in Berkeley!”

“Angel was amazing. I haven’t had white castles in a while since moving from Chicago to Springfield and to have her service was 5 star rating. She’s an amazing and professional woman with excellent customer service. She’s the best and deserve a raise ????I know people are quick to give bad reviews, but I just thought to take the time out and write a good review for her. Thank you ANGELLLLL!!!!”
“Steak ‘n Shake restaurants in St Louis have all but disappeared and the quality was shaky for awhile but this location is the BOMB! The employees are amazingly friendly and quick. The food is piping hot and so fantastic. This change has just happened in the last few months so please give this location a try! I was really excited to see the changes and I stop in for fries or a meal whenever I’m close to the airport. Thank you for making my childhood favorite place great again!Parking: LotsKid-friendliness: Always.Wheelchair accessibility: Doors aren’t automatic but there is a ramp.”
“Good food good service. My first time trying lamb chops and they were amazing, juicy tender, i will definitely go back. My daughter had the cajun shrimp pasta and she said it was delicious and plentiful. I got full 1/2 way through.”
“Excellent dinner. Easy to make reservation. Service was excellent, friendly and prompt, great flow/ timing of presenting food. The food itself was excellent! My only wish is that hot sake was an option.Dietary restrictions: Did very well with gluten and dairy free options. Staff was knowledgeable on allergies and appropriate menu items.”
“Louie was amazing!! The food and service were the best part! Our waitress Emma went above and beyond!! She took the time to explain the dishes and be super personable!! Ask for Emma, she’s the best!!!”
“Went for their New Year's Eve party, it was such fun! The sample drinks were tasty and the food was yummy. Topping it off with their ice cream minis was a great idea. The sorbet was delicious. Miss Julia was a fun band.”
“"From the moment I stepped into The Crossing in Clayton, I knew I was in for a remarkable dining experience. The exceptional service began with Sunny, who skillfully handled my reservation, and continued with David's warm welcome at the door. My server, Joshua, was simply outstanding, ensuring that my visit was nothing short of perfect. What truly set this experience apart was the meticulous attention to dietary restrictions for both me and my guests. It's rare to find a restaurant that genuinely cares and accommodates with such grace. The meal was unforgettable, leaving me talking about it for weeks. But the cherry on top was a chance encounter with Joseph on the sidewalk days later. His genuine follow-up about my experience showcased a level of care and knowledge that is unparalleled in the industry. The Crossing in Clayton is not just a restaurant; it's an experience where the staff goes above and beyond, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking culinary excellence and exceptional service."”
“Exquisite food! Service was excellent as well. We will be returning to try more of the menu. Each course was timed perfectly and was enough to not leave you craving more. Overall a great dining experience.”
“Our server Josh (yes, coincidence) nailed it. Attentive but not overbearing. The cocktails were a hit too, and I'd recommend the Apple Bottom Jeans and the Violet Mojito. My wife and I stuck to small plates as we weren't in the mood for large plates. The lobster roll was out of this world, and while it looks small, they manage to pack so much delectable lobster into it. The pork belly was also incredible though it was light on the amount of pork belly in it. The spam fried rice was really good. The chili flakes elevate the entire plate, but if you don't like spicy food, I might suggest you get something else. Finally, the cheddar biscuits...they weren't very good. They were a bit tough, not fluffy, and were portioned in a way that made them awkward to eat (too tall). I would not recommend the biscuits. But overall, great experience, 4.5/5.”
“Worth the wait in lin. 1st time going here, got the classic Italian. Great sandwich! Great bread, I got the cheese garlic. Definitely will be back for lunch. Too bad you guys close at , I want more sandwiches take home for dinner after work. ?”
“Lynette is the most amazing person ever. She was so nice and amazing. Definitely gave me a greta impression of this place. Lynette gave us the food fast and was very accommodating to my allergy.Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten free allergy and this place is amazing.”
“This is my first time visiting this absolutely beautiful restaurant! I was pleasantly welcomed by the owner and shown to my table. The ambiance is beautiful & traditional Syrian/Mediterranean which immediately takes you away from where you are. The service was excellent. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious! I had the stuffed grape leaves, a light traditional soup, and the beef dish served with a light yogurt & vegetables. If you haven't tried this wonderful establishment, you must give it a try! Very unique and a well needed addition to this little cove of Creve Couer! I will definitely be returning often & bringing others!!”
“My dad had been telling me about this place since you all opened and this is the first time I got to experience the deliciousness for myself. Dad had a burger for the first time that he can remember and I enjoyed the BLT! highly recommend!”
“A little out of the way on the loop, which can be nice if you want a bite without yelling to talk with who you’re with. Street tacos were great, absolutely recommend. A little pricier, but you can tell they use quality ingredients.”
“This was literally hands down the best cup of coffee I’ve ever gotten from any coffee shop!! The coffee was so amazing I had to but 3 bags to take back to Chicago!!”
“Food was great. Service took a bit long but that was due to the conference going on. Love the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. I loved their fried rice and chargrilled aubergine.”
“I was in town for a conference and I went to Food Network for some recommendations and this restaurant popped up. I was not disappointed the ribs and pulled pork were really great. The sauces were really good and the atmosphere was so friendly and just down home. I love the option of eating indoors or outdoor. Great place if you are a visitor. And a lot of locals recommended this place.”
“Not all Steakhouses are created equal. Hamilton's provides an intimate setting for a quality dining experience. If you're the type to want to pair your meal with a unique whisky, scotch or bourbon - you have come to the right place. The bar's selection and knowledge will surpass your expectations. You will have the opportunity to sip on some spirits that are hard to find anywhere. It's wise to grab a reservation or enjoy a spot at their cozy bar.”
“The food was overall good but not great or life changing. We are big fans of Vicia and were hoping for the same complexity of flavors but did not find it in all the dishes here - only some of them.We ordered:Gougeres - cheese fondue and popovers. Fondue was good but the popovers were kind of doughy and dense.Beef tartare - fine, not great - the tartare was a bit flavorless and flat despite being served with a jusFrench onion soup - good! No complaints.Mussels - the star of the show, 5/5, some of the best mussels I’ve hadPain perdu - a carmelized dessert with toasted brioche and Clementine’s ice cream that was delicious.Special shout out to the mocktail Papillon. I don’t like when mocktails are just fruit juice but this one really had the complexity and slight bitterness of a cocktail.Overall we would come back but there are flavor profiles of some dishes that could be elevated to make this a 5/5 meal.”
“First time here and will definitely be back. Food was great and staff was very nice. Egg rolls were awesome. Duck was a bit dry but still tasty. Can’t want to go try the shrimp ban mi”
“We were out on a Monday morning produce run for our restaurant and wanted a quick brunch. Service was fast, friendly, and delicious. Parking can be odd but it’s worth the Tetris.”
“We were in attendance for Monthly Girlfriend luncheon. Only 1 of us 4 had visited Hendel's in the distant past and she chose the restaurant. You don't see a lot of truly warm and cozy restaurants nestled within the neighborhood that's prospered. The food was good and service was excellent and as we have visited restaurants month after months, it's obvious that cooks aren't same. There is space for indoor & outdoor eating with limited parking. Nice afternoon luncheon experience ?Parking: Free parking in rear where u have a short walk from vehicle into establishment, but if full being that it's sitting in residential area, one can park on side street, no meters, & without inconveniencing residents.Kid-friendliness: Kids were running around where we sat indoors but no one seemed disturbed by their antics ?”
“Wound up at Jaxels after pulling off the highway to get some sleep at the hotel across the street - this place is an absolute sleeper. Amazing authentic Mexican, great breakfast. The outside needs love, but the family who inherited this place is lovely, hard working, and great cooks! Had the chilaquiles my wife the omelette, we took the street burrito to go and their homemade brownies - amazing home cooked vibes across all.”
