“My husband and I are from out of town and wanted Mexican food for lunch, we looked up the Mexican restaurants in Bolivar and found El Rodeo. We both had a great experience. The chips and salsa are amazing compared to the Mexican restaurants in our area, the food was hot and delicious, we both stayed full for hours after, my husband had sweet tea and he said it tasted great and it was really fresh. The food and service was great, we will definitely be visiting again if we’re in Bolivar!”

“I love their seasonal drinks! The caramel apple oatmilk latte is fantastic in the fall and their Queen (think cordial cherries) is heavenly in the winter. The drive-thru is super convenient and we appreciate the extended hours too!”

“Friendly staff, reasonably priced, & quick to get orders filled. Always delicious custard, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They have drive through so if you don’t have time to stop & enjoy your custard at the picnic tables.”

“We eat at Springfield Cafe quite often. I love the Cashew Chicken. My daughter enjoys the Spaghetti and BLT. My husband likes the breakfast all day option. I tried the Chicken nachos My last visit. Unfortunately, the waitress could not tell me what was on them. They were smothered with cooked green peppers and a large glob of cooked onions?? Not served with salsa or sour cream. Not typical nachos and not good. Fresh vegetables would have been much better. The Cashew chicken could use a side of eggroll or ragoon.”

“We used Curly Q to cater at our wedding, mostly because we were on a tight budget and they had easily the most affordable rates for bbq that we could find. We would have been happy with anything half-decent, but the food was truly incredible, and greatly exceeded our expectations. We asked for the pulled pork, sliced chicken, cheesy potatoes, green beans, and slaw; all of these were outstanding, but the meat and potatoes were amazing! For your money, this is probably as good as it gets.”

“Love the $7 chicken strips value meal. They have gravy as a choice of dipping sauce which is even good with their fries. You also get a drink and a sundae, Coke and hot fudge for me. You definitely don't leave hungry and the food is always good. You can't beat the Bolivar fast food employees, they are some of the nicest.”

“I live near Galveston Texas but every time we visit family in Missouri I make a point to stop in at Brenda's for breakfast. Best pancakes ever! I have even recommended for friends who go up to Missouri on vacation!! Definitely worth the drive. Will be heading back soon so see y'all soon!”

We had a Kathie’s, restaurant! we called the last minute for a reservation for 18 at 4 PM and they totally accommodated us and not only accommodated us but gave us Premier service! Jeriika was our waitress and very attentive and Iris the owner made us feel right at home! the food was delicious and everyone was satisfied. Thank you everyone in the kitchen and the dining room for such a memorable dinner with our family.!”
