“We had heard lots of good things about The Highlander, and finally had the opportunity to try them yesterday. It was a tough decision since everything looks so good, but I finally ordered the Fish and Chips. It was one of best I've ever had. Their large tender pieces are batter-fried and crispy - and there's plenty of it. The fries are awesome, too! My buddy raved about his Chicken and Waffles, and his Son said his burger was the best! I can't wait to check out more of their extensive menu!”

“What a fun casual place to meet with friends for lunch or dinner. Everyone loved the food and the ambiance. . The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating in setting up tables for 12 of us and just helping out with anything we needed. We sat outside in the shade of the front porch. The pulled pork was delicious and I loved the southern cooked green beans. A friend said the cheesy corn was really good. Slaw was great too. The meat servings are huge- everybody took leftovers for lunch the next day. My sister ordered pulled pork served over cornbread with bbq sauce and loved that. One person ordered smoked turke- Big thick slices and there were a lot of them,- enough for 3 people!”

“after our breakfast on Sunday I can't recommend Stewart's in Greenview. That famous cinnamon roll was not worth eating, and wasnt!. The biscuit in the Diet plate, wasn't eaten either. Both items should have not been served. What happened to Stewart's?”

“Visited The Funky Buffalo from out of town, as a girl-friend and I celebrate my 40th birthday with a small trip, and were passing through the area after a terrible airbnb house/ host experience. Staff was so incredibly kind- not rushing us even when we were the last patrons in the shop towards closing time, the muffin and coffee cake we ordered was beautifully flavourful and tender, and staff helped us choose the perfect drinks to start to turn our day around. They even patiently taught me something about coffee when I needed that extra caffeine boost! To top it off merchandise offered was diverse, functional and fun! It felt like a little piece of home, and you're missing out if you don't stop! Thank you.”

“Visited tonight because we saw some food pictures online and just had to try it. if anyone is afraid of eating here due to a smoky smell have no worries! We are not smokers and it was no issue. Now on to the real meat here...the dessert was so phenomenal (Chocolate bourbon cake). We will be back!”

The staff at this establishment should train all retail staff everywhere. The cashier, the expediters, the dining room tenants… all top notch. Smiles and greetings. The place is literally spotless. Blown away. The food is good but even if it sucked, I’d be back”

“every since I first bought a Hunt Brothers pizza I was sold to deliciousness. I worked for pizza hut at the time and the second time I bought a Hunt Brothers pizza I told the clerks at the store the pizza to me is better than Pizza Hut. then I seen the sign in the window and found out Hunt Brothers has breakfast pizza and it's been a little over four years now and Hunt Brothers pizza is all I buy. what I love is taste, quality, price and fact the toppings don't cost extra. keep up the good work and keep the customers happy. The lady serving AND running the bar was REALLY helpful and fast.

“Came in from out of town, we placed a breakfast to go order. Biscuits & Gravy hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage links. The Biscuits were so good! I should say everything was good. We also ordered a cinnamon roll... Boy, let me tell you, it was really good and so BIG!

“Had a nice dinner with my husband. He had the cheeseburger and I had the pork chop. Both were tastey and seasoned well. Unfortunately both were also quite overcooked compared to how we ordered and it made them a bit dry. I would expect a place like this to know how to cook meat to the right temperature. I should add it was not very busy.
We split a brownie dessert and that was sumptuous!

The atmosphere is nice but the finishes are rather dated. Very 90's. I will say the bathroom is very clean and nice.

I will go again, but have lower expectations for the food and ambience.

The star was Sara, our server. She was friendly, knowledgable, attentive - timing our salad/soup, anticipating our drinks, and getting things quickly. She's a delight!”

“This is our favorite restaurant on the lake! The food is always superb and the atmosphere is second to none. It is great for the whole family from grandparents down to great grandkids. We absolutely love the atmosphere and the wait staff. Our whole family loves the burgers, and I'm a vegetarian, and they always have some thing. Amazing for me to choose from. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and never can't wait to go back.”
