We started with the Cajun Nachos, which were tortilla chips smothered with red beans, a few jalapenos and an occasional slice of kielbasa sausage. Our meals were a plate of red beans and rice, Crawfish Etouffee, Shrimp Etouffee, Catfish Po’boy, a cup of Jambalaya and the Broussard’s Chicken Breast and fries. We had a good sampling of their menu! Most everything was good.
However, I would not recommend the Broussard’s Chicken Breast. It is a grilled chicken breast heavily seasoned a with house spice blend. It was overloaded with filѐ seasoning. It comes with a sauce that helped tone down the overpowering flavor of the filé powder. Stick with the blackened Chicken.
It is an attractively decorated restaurant and bar. The service is average.”

“I discovered Top of the Marq in June when a friend took us there. I have been back several times including my birthday 4 weeks ago. I really like this place especially for the atmosphere. The food jd excellent. Last time I had the 16 oz garlic ribeye steak. I took half of it home.”

But it was way to get to, just have to walk into the casino and deal with some cigarette smoke. But we were very happy with our meal. Some reasonably priced stuff as well as some expensive stuff, so a good balance. What you’d expect with a casino restaurant. It was dark so we didn’t really have a view of the Mississippi, but during the day the view would probably be nice.”

“Sushi is fresh and high quality. Volcano roll was excellent. I loved the walnut shrimp. It's hard to find places that serve it, so I was excited to get it. It was excellent. Big shrimp, cook perfect. Portions are a good size and filling. They also serve boba tea and take orders right at the counter if you are looking for a good option. Service was fast and friendly. The robot that brings the food to the table was fun to watch.

“Stopped in for lunch as we were passing through. Fabulously seasoned food with large portions! Service was mediocre. The restrooms were ATROCIOUS!! ? My feet were literally sticking to the floor, sinks were backing up and just all around nasty. The place could definitely use a deep cleaning and a makeover. But again, THE FOOD, ?! (Chips tasted a bit old and reheated however) price was on point and much lower than Mexican restaurants where I live.

She has been nothing but polite and sweet, I even gave her a hug because it was just her and another waiter, and I know how overwhelming it can be when it comes to trying to satisfy the costumer when it’s only a few of you. “Stumbled upon this hidden gem while walking and exploring Downtown Cape Girardeau. Amazing display of music including cassettes, vinyl records, and cd's. Their record wall was astonishing and the atmosphere is very inviting. Drinks were well worth their price and the owner was super friendly and social. Will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend for anyone to try out. We had shots, coke/whiskey, and a Nudie Suit (Scientist Dub Mix) which included 6mg of THC”

The takeout food I picked up for someone else. However, the aroma of the Turkey, Brisket, and BBQ sandwiches were mouthwatering enticing.

I've had their whole slab ribs in the past, and they were tender and tasty.

My only complaint would be I paid $3 to add mushrooms and couldn’t really tell they were in there. Also wished for a few more onions. I omitted the peppers. It was still really good along with the Queso which I got on the side.”

A manager seated us took our drink order and delivered our drink gave us menu's. We asked a passing waiter to please send Manager to our booth. She returned asking if she could help. My friend just held up the glass for her to see. She asked if he wanted another drink and apologized. Our waiter, Brian H upon bringing our order which we questioned the portion size of one of the orders (same order). , one plate seemed to be much smaller than the other. Brian said "I'll be back". He only came back when he brought the check. Very poor service. Food was good.”
