“Took grandson to dinner . Order at the register & they bring it to the table .We had a wahlbuger, fries, panko fish sandwich , tiny onion rings and milk shakes .They were out of sweet potato tater tots !Food was very good. Fish was a big chunk . Hard to eat as a sandwich . Hear they have a great breakfast , too.“

“2 recommendations: you have to meet Krissy who is probably the most cordial and friendly bar manager I've ever met, and second; if you and she have the time, spend a few minutes taking with Alaska. Just be warned, even if you don't do shots anymore she'll probably talk you into her $2.00 shot special. As a side note, Willy is a regular apparently. 6'11" MMA fighter and one of the nicest people I've ever spent an hour talking to.“

“Delicious breakfast and a nice place to sit and enjoy your breakfast with lots of tables. Has quiet atmosphere inside the hy-vee grocery store. It's a good idea 💡 and can walk around afterwards to get a bit of grocery shopping 🛍 done ✔️ 😀“

“I couldn’t tell you what contributed to my long wait time but I wouldn’t recommend coming here. I came at one of there least busiest times and it took 40 minutes to make my breakfast sandwich and platter from ordering it. Thats just too long for a small order when there it isn’t even busy.

They also have plenty of staff, the kitchen is visible from the sales floor. If you have time to waste, or patience, their food came out ok. Met my expectations. Not worth the amount of time I waited, a bit expensive too.

Manager Donovan assured me that my experience was due to understaffing caused by sickness. I get it, things happen and I can’t expect Hy-Vee to be perfect, thats why I’m updating my review because they recognized their shortcomings, compensated, and vowed to give me great service moving forward, thats all I could as for from a business when things like this happen. 4 ⭐️“

“The Penguin is a good time for all with a piano bar in the center of the action. Upstairs is another full bar with plenty of space to mingle. Atmosphere is festive and entertaining! It’s in a historic building that housed Dos Hombres in the 1990s.“

“Although the food is good, the service is terrible, takes forever to get waited on and the servers personallies are impersonal and dry. We have excused ourselves from the table to go use restroom, smoke break, etc., with food and drinks left on table, told the waitress,, people around us and came back 10 minutes later to an empty table and only response is an "oh, uh", no reimbursement, no nothing and the table wasn't even needed! Whatever happened to common decency? Wake up and pay attention people.“
