“Born and raised in Belen, NM (although I now reside in Minnesota), I dream of New Mexican food on a daily basis. While visiting St Louis, MO with my family we found this gem of a diner. I had the huevos rancheros (Christmas) and it was amazing. Our server, Nicole, was kind and attentive and our food came out in good time! The owner was seating people as well as cleaning tables as needed. The quirky decor totally made me feel like I was back home in New Mexico! I would definitely recommend this place!“
“Super cute diner. My bf and I had breakfast here on a Sunday and we were lucky we got a table right away, there were people waiting when we left. I had sausage gravy and biscuits and my bf had pancakes, eggs, hash browns. Everything was delicious. We will be back.“
“Excellent place for breakfast.Cash only (in case you forgot, like I tend to do) but there's an ATM inside, just in caseParking: If it's really busy, is possible there won't be enough parking in their lot, but there's plenty of nearby street parking too“
“A real American diner, great atmosphere, you eat at the counter next to other customers with whom you can chat while sipping your coffee.I only came there for breakfast but the omelettes are very good, the egg sandwich too, and the coffee is okay for what it is.Great value for money and it's really cheap. To top it all off, the boss is very nice.“
“Has some of the best diner food, willing to make pretty much any kind of combo that you can think of. But it's a cash only business.... No cards allowedVegetarian options: I don't see any vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Can usually make any substitutions on any meal if need beParking: The parking lot is very smallKid-friendliness: They are kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Have wheel chair access“
“We had a wonderful breakfast here. It is a down home classic diner. You have to be a bit patient as one person can only do so much at once. But it was very delicious and cozy. I never had a Slinger Plate but I would suggest adding onions and shredded cheese. The French Toast is kind of small so if you usually get two and IHOP then you should order three here.“
“This is the only classic diner, featuring barstool counter seating you will find anywhere close to the area, and it delivers exactly what you would expect - entertainment from skilled short order cooks, decent hot coffee, efficient and friendly service, and scrumptious food. What I ate: - eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, toast: (4/5) Very tasty! Crispy, hot hashbrowns. Perfectly cooked over easy eggs, decent sausage. Toast made for jam. - pancake: (4/5) hot, fluffy and just what you would expect! Check them out!“
“First of all, let me say our server, Morgan, is the BOMB!! While the restaurant isn't very spacious, Morgan was kicking butt and taking names! Great server!! We stopped by Tuesday morning and were lucky enough to find a table. The place was packed, and I'd read the reviews, so I hoped I had found a great place for breakfast! It was delicious. The menu is extensive, offering something for everyone! I ordered half French toast and asked for extra crispy hash browns with onions. Perfection. Mom had biscuits, eggs, and said the eggs were cooked exactly to her liking. Our friend had a breakfast quesadilla and loved it! The portions were ample and despite how busy the diner was, our food was served quickly!Morgan kept our drinks full (a big deal forus) and was very friendly. We felt like regulars! Can't wait to visit again on our next trip to Saint Charles!“
“Good was great. Staff was very nice. Atmosphere is very cute.But...Tiny portions. Burgers are small. Onion rings were small and there were 7-8 in an order. So order more than you think you need. Also their "make it in house" root beer is just IBC. Making it in house is just combining soda with syrup like every fountain drink ever.“
“Loved the biscuits and gravy and the cheese omelette with bacon. The amount of bacon was amazing! We sat a listened to a long timer educate a fellow employee on the best nights to work for tips. Between the food and service, we had a great date night. We will definitely be back as this is the best Courtesy Diner in St Louis. Don’t miss out on stopping here, you won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: It can be as vegetarian as you want.“
“We drive out of our way to visit this location, because the food, and especially the service, are the best. Ciara was out server during our most recent visit, and she was outstanding - personable and attentive. The service was quick, and our orders were correct and delicious,“
“Service was quick and food was hot and delicious. Service from Racheal was amazing. She was super sweet and was fun to talk to. Definitely hope to have her again. Only thing is my friend can’t eat cheese and there was cheese in her eggs and they didn’t change it, but other than that everything was great.“
“The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is also very good but you may not like smelling the cigarette smoke while you're eating. The waitress keeps stepping out for smoking and comes in exhaling smoke and wreaking. This takes away from the otherwise enjoyable experience.if you don't mind strong cigarette smoking smells while your eating, this is a place you will be happy with.“
“My sister and I came here one late night after a concert. We were seated right away and our drink orders were taken. My sister had water and I had a cold brew coffee, which was delicious!! We ordered our food...I don't remember what my sister had but she enjoyed it. I had strawberry crepes and hash browns and it was perfect!! Our server was friendly and attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be back!“
“Our waitress Kat is awesome she is (I know you already friendly) type of person, very pleasant and was running to find a customer that left their glasses behind when we were coming in, we were happy to have her wait on us.The only negative was it took awhile to get our or breakfast order almost an hour, but it was very good when we finally got it . I still recommend coming here we just got lost in line“
“Cute little neighborhood diner, with friendly and fast service. You will be greeted by Chewy the friendly hostess and he will also make sure that your cup is never empty. Then then Renee will be next up to provide you with the most beneficial way to order your favorite breakfast dish. I enjoy the the company of the regulars, and the feel of being in my own kitchen. Don't forget to check their board when you walk in it has the specials of the day!“
“The burger was so delicious, cooked to perfection. The fries were well seasoned I didn't need to add any black pepper. Person who took the order was very friendly. Not a traditional restaurant where you have a designated server, but definitely worth a try if you want something quick, yummy, and not too crowded.“
“Debbie H is an exceptional waitress. She’s been a dedicated server at Dennys for 10+ years and I know because I am a loyal customer. When I come to Dennys it is mandatory that Debbie h is my waitress because she is extremely personal able, fast, and efficient! My food is always hot, correct and out in a timely manner. I don’t“
“Old-school Chinese restaurants, some of the staff have limited English, but although the service is not friendly, it is efficient and the restaurant is clean. The menu is loaded with pictures so if you have difficulty deciphering what the food items are, you can take a peek. The appetizers are delicious, including the chicken feet, salt and pepper squid and the entrée sole salt and pepper deep-fried is good too. My only complaint is that if the prices on the menu or not would appear on your bill! My dinner ended up being over $70 with tip is I was charged more than the mini price. I paid the bill this time but if I do go back, I will call them out on it.“
