As an avid reader, watching a great store like B&N die a slow death over the past 20 years has been hard. The store's shelves are now somewhat bare, the floor-space is empty, and it is a place that has seen its best days long ago. The customer service that I received at this location today explains much of what went wrong. Slow, no real desire to assist--much less solve a shopper's problem is pretty much the theme. The staff here are always accommodating, accurate, and efficient. Other reviewers seem unaware that this is merely a cafe that SERVES Starbucks coffee, not a Starbucks. It's not their fault they can't take your gift cards.
