“Deli inside a convenience store. Interesting folk art is available for sale. I went for the sandwiches. The meatloaf had a nice crusty bread with a generous serving of meat. The sandwich was topped with all the right fixings. I had a side order of red beans and rice and they were delicious. I’m already planning on stopping by next week to try the fried baloney sandwich and another side.“
“We have come here several times and it never disappoints. The menu is great , the staff have always been helpful and kind, and the food is incredible. We love starting with the calamari basket and seafood bread. The kids love the fried okra as well for appetizer. We usually do the pick your own combo with snow crab and headless shrimp, with sides or corn - boiled egg - and potatoes. The flavors are all always hit. House Cajun medium, old bay mild, and garlic butter medium are of our favorites. The atmosphere is cool and welcoming. Fun decor and some tvs around the room. We always have fun drawing on the paper table covering while waiting for our meal.Parking: Clean parking lot with plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: The kids will love to draw and color on the table covering as well as writing their name on the wall.Wheelchair accessibility: Great easy parking. Handicap parking up front and easy to navigate within for those with mobility limitations.“
“We love everything at the French Quarter. The people, the staff, especially Nikki.The atmosphere has maintained its presence as a hometown place in the middle of a busy city. There is nothing more you could ask for. Friendly people, great food…if you dont like this place, well we just cant be friends.“
“It was definitely a great vibe! The The ambience was a salute to everything New Orleans, blues, and fun. We came on open mic night so we stayed around a bit to hear some good music from a couple of the house bands. Our server was polite and knowledgeable. If I had to make a recommendation, I'd say try the gumbo...either of them would be great but I had the chicken and sausage gumbo. It was absolutely delightful and seasoned well.There are so many great looking items on the menu that I have to come back just to try more!“
“Every part of this visit was amazing! The food was authentic and delicious. Presentation was perfect. Drinks were great! The tables by the bar are a little close to each other. Some tables were wobbly which is extra annoying and would like to see them fixed.“
