“I've been trying out new local coffee shops in the area and this one is by far my favorite :) The staff was super sweet and friendly. I genuinely felt welcomed. The coffee was also very delicious. A cute little place to grab a coffee and get some studying done! I will definitely be coming back.“
“I really like the new spot near the entrance. Very clean. I also like the selection of the local KC cups (from Starbucks "you are here" collection.) I would love if mobile ordering was available here but understand that may not be feasibly possible at this location. Always smells nice too ?“
“Every time I go into this location the staff is AMAZING.. very nice and smiles on their faces. I’m used to going to locations and tipping the staff and I was a palled to hear that they are no longer able to take tips. The stuff don’t make a lot of money and I should be able to based on my service be able to give a tip to a staff member or staff that have done amazing customer service. This is not right.“
“Food is usually hot but I like to order my fries with light salt and Cooke to order my chicken nuggets and it's all good! The service is great a young man name Willie helped me and he was very friendly and seemed like a really cool kid! He was clean shaved and hair was nice and neat with a clean uniform! The lobby wasn't busy and the drive thru is fast!*Chicken Mcnuggets Combo Meal“
“I have eaten Mc Donald's my whole 52 yrs of life and never had French fries as good as they were today. The perfectly salted tender crispy golden drool worthy fries of 1980 Mickey D'S was back. I ate the whole box even with the nauseating sound of top 40 country hits playing overhead. The cookies were flat and over cooked but I ate them anyway because French fries will dull your taste buds enough that anything eaten directly after still tastes amazing. They have a house fly problem. But French fries. Yeah.“
“I come here frequently after getting groceries, one lady remembers me now and knows exactly what I order. I tried something new and it was delicious, I went to reorder it today and I accidentally ordered a tea instead of a latte. I did not like the tea and they made me a new drink even though it was my fault. I love this little shop! The Brown Sugar Boba Latte is my favorite. It is a small shop in downtown, so there arent a lot of places to park, which is to be expected. Good thing I walk everywhere. :)“
“By far, the Best Cigar stock in Kansas City - great variety with an exceptional preservation of each cigars humidity content. If your a connoisseur and trying to get a true taste for a certain brand, I'd highly recommend. Whether it be for us early risers, or weekend date night.“
“My first time in, and I found it to be charming. A bright and tidy place in a more historic part of town. The baristas were sweet and fun. If you get a drip coffee and choose to enjoy on premises, you pick out your own mug and get a free refill. It was a perfect Sunday morning stop.“
“I've often wanted to check out Messenger Coffee in the Crossroads, but was concerned about parking and it being on Grand - Busy street. I was having a, "Let's Seize the Day", moment and decided to give it a shot. Parking was as taxing as I guessed, but I only had to walk half a block to get inside. The first floor is austere and clean, but not very welcoming in my opinion. I'm much more of a soft fabric with muted lighting kind of girl. Still, it has an old charm that I can see a lot of people appreciating. I grabbed a treat and tea then headed upstairs to find seating. The stairs are daunting, but they have an elevator to make things easier. The second floor was packed, but the rooftop with its view of the city and firepit was empty - Score! There was a bit of wind, but nothing that the huge firepit couldn't handle. I happily spent my Seize the Day morning sipping hot tea, eating a tasty treat, and enjoying the view on the Messenger Coffee on Grand's rooftop.“
“I was greeted by the student workers upon entering, and my latte was prepared quickly and to order. I was talked into a warm sausage and cheese scone (baked goods provided by Joelle's Bakery), and it did not disappoint. The cozy booths and conversation areas look welcoming, and I hope to return when I have time to enjoy them. The space is roomy and accommodating. I have visited Class Act a few times, and my drinks have been great and nicely priced. As a public facing retail coffee shop, Class Act holds its own, but the fact that it is a school district enterprise developed, marketed, and staffed by high school students to provide skill building and work experience -- that makes it a place I want to support, and I encourage others to as well!“
