“Stopped in when passing through from Oklahoma to Minnesota. I had the Grilled Cheese Trio and it was delicious! My husband had the Bateman Bison Burger and loved it! I especially liked the potato chips that came with his burger. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. All around good, clean eating! Great location for travelers.“

“My sister and her husband are big pizza people (make their own, eat it out at the best places) and they found this place on Reddit while searching for “best pizza kc area.” (We’re from seattle.)Providence Pizza was awesome. None of us had any idea what to expect, and it’s in Grandview, which is a pretty small suburb with not a lot going on (to my eye).It’s not too big of a place. You order at the counter (can get slices or whole pies) and grab a number and sit down.We were a party of 10, and they were pretty chill at letting us move some tables together to accommodate, but it was fairly busy at 6:30 on a Thursday. They don’t take reservations, so kind of luck of the draw if you’re looking for seating. Seems like a lot of people did takeout and just came in to get their pizza and go.I’m vegan, and they have follow your heart vegan cheese as a topping option to either substitute on one of their pies or build-your-own. They have three types of pizza - New York thin crust, Detroit deep dish (bready crust with toasty cheese over the edges), and Sicilian (with the seeds on the bottom). I got the Detroit deep dish with red sauce, vegan cheese, fresh basil, and castelvratrano olives. It was SO good. And guess what — it cost $11. This pizza in seattle would easily be $18.My high-standards pizza family also really enjoyed it, and got a ton of different pies. I think my sister said she liked the Sicilian the least. Everyone enjoyed the garlic knots appetizer (except me, bc they had cheese on them), and there’s beer for purchase. Some people got salads and the portions were big (can order as a half or a whole).Will definitely be back when we visit our family in KC!Vegetarian options: Easy to get pizza without meatDietary restrictions: Options available for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free folks.“

“We eat very healthy and the food selection here was abundant. However, we had no idea about the quality of it. This is the case with eating out at all restaurants. By this I mean, I have no idea what oils are used to cook things, how the meat was raised, pesticides on the fruit/veggies. These things are important to us. So dining out is very rare for us. The atmosphere, service and entertainment was outstanding. I've been a patron of dinner theater since Waldo Astoria and Tiffany's Attic. Would recommend this place, but be aware of the quality of food if this is important to you.“

“This place was amazing! The owner was so kind and helped me figure out what would be best while still dealing with tooth pain from a procedure early this week. The food was cooked to perfectio. “I absolutely adore Baba’s Pantry. They have very tasty, satisfying meals that remind me of homemade food in the best possible way— Eating here doesn’t leave you feeling heavy, because the food is so fresh: fresh veggies and fresh herbs, (in the case of the tabbouleh) lots of whole grains, and the fried food (e.g. falafel and fries) always tastes fresh and is spiced so well. Our go-to favorite orders have been the falafel pita and tabbouleh, but today we tried the vegan shawarma (jackfruit), and it was amazing. Might just be our new favorite! I also recommend the pickled turnips (delicious salad/sandwich topper!) and creative lemonade flavors (new flavors updated daily). Bonus, unless you are super hungry, one pita order can be two meals! The salad portions are also generous. The service is amazing and the people are so caring. The only downside is that seating is at a premium especially at peak dinner times during the winter, when sitting outdoors isn’t optimal. So we opt for takeout sometimes, which works great. :) ALSO highly recommend browsing their pantry selection of dips, chips, pickles, desserts and more. “As always joes never fails to provide good BBQ. Is it Kansas Cities Best or my Absolutely favorite it is not, but if I want a nice restaurant to take the family to it is my go-to. I had the Jumbo sandwich with Beef and ham with a side of fries. The beef was flavorful and had a slight smoke flavor and was very tender. The Ham had the same nice flavor and cooked well. “I love Indian food. Normally, I'd have to drive out to Overland Park but thanks to it's location I can stay in town and satisfy my desire. I had the Saag paneer and my wife had the Achari chicken. We had the chicken 65 as an appetizer. Now I've had a lot of both of those across the country and I can honestly say these are both prime examples of the dishes. Their spice levels were true, hot was hot and spicy was spicy.I will absolutely be back here, and I hope you give it a shot as well.“

Management's training of staff was obvious. Staff was attentive and professional. Observation......the appearance of the serving and management surpassed many of the customers.
