“Lake Burger is amazing. We have been coming to the lake since I was a baby and when Lake Burger opened it quickly became a family favorite! The service is always top notch and the food is great (but very big portion sizes!). Highly recommend coming here if you're at the lake!!“

“First time here as a lake-side resident. || would give it 10 stars if I could. Very simple. The wait staff are pleasant and happy to greet you. House salad was nearly a meal in itself. “Grabbed a drink and afternoon snack here after getting in town for a conference. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the lake view. Our waiter was new to the restaurant and did a great job. He checked back often to ensure our drinks were full and to see if we needed anything. Definitely recommend the loaded bbq nachos!“

“Went to the hippopotamus Pool the other day and holy cow was I surprised!! The pool was huge and the area was beautiful. But that's not why I'm posting this review. I went to the swim up bar and got the absolute BEST drinks I've ever had, the menu has a variety of great drinks but the bartenders made the experience one to remember. I let them make me custom drinks all day and was not disappointed, this young man Jordan really knows how to make a margarita, I could request any flavor too and he'd throw it together with love. Him and The other bartender John were super polite and carried out true genuine conversations to make it feel like a true party. The music was great and loud to really get ya shakin it! 10/10 recommend“

“We stopped by because my friend recommended this place.We arrived at 4:01 and they opened at 4 pmWe entered an empty restaurant, and the server said we could sit anywhere we wanted. I replied I'd like to sit on top of the bar. She said anywhere, but there and smiled. We were given drink options, and both decided on sweet tea.The server arrived with drinks, and we ordered. I asked for recommendations and ordered french-uletta, and she said i should try. She recommended Jambalaya for a side, and I said sure!My wife ordered Tasso Alfredo. Her meal came with a salad. The server asked if I wanted my jambalaya when she brought the salad. I said yes, please.The salad and jambalaya were TOP NOTCH!Salad was green and fresh, plus the bread was well butted and toasted to perfection! The jambalaya was pretty spicy if you are not into spice.The food arrived and it was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were flavorful with the Alfredo. The french-uletta was incredible!The server recommended for dessert a gooey butter cake and vanilla ice cream. “I actually live in Versailles not some food p***** I love this place it's a husband and wife duo with their kids. Of course the duffet when they had it didn't have fresh food. Who would in a town so small? I just asked for what ever I liked to be made and they did right away. Take out is where it's at always hot and delicious. I can feed two people with what ever full order you get.“

That, but more so the entitlement of fellow patrons, be it how they treated staff or the local wildlife, made it so less expensive venues are much more appealing.“
