“G&D is a solid diner. What I would say about them is that they exceed expectation for the price, making them an excellent value in my book. I do the fried mushroom appetizer, a salad, burger and fries. They have a mean Philly cheesesteak as well. You will probably also crave their chicken strips again if you try them. The staff is friendly. I plan on giving their steak another try. I had a bite of my wife's steak and it wasn't bad, but I didn't regret not ordering it either. But I'd like to try one that is cooked medium rare before I give a real opinion.“

“Delicious! I has the Shuyler's Sandwich and it was very good! They seem to be an excellent brunch spot. This is a Columbia must-try in my opinion. Parking is often challenging to find. Prices are very good. Cheaper than fast food and just as quick... also way, way better! “Went here on Easter for a dinner date. Service and food was amazing! I had the hot ham and cheese and the biscuit and jelly was a great touch. My only gripe is that I was not expecting thick chunks of ham, it was a little tough. Regardless, amazing place and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.“

“Stopped here on a cross-country trip, and we were delighted with our delicious tacos and the friendly staff. We ordered the IPA tacos (succulent) and the shrimp tacos (best I've ever tasted)! Two tacos per serving were enough to fill us and--traveling with our well-behaved labradoodle, we were pleased to be able to dine outside. They even brought our pup a bowl of water. Classy place!“

“Great local brewery that's downstairs from the main road iin the heart of Columbia, MO! I arrived late to a group dinner but everything turned out great for me. All of my colleagues already ordered and their food was just all coming out when I arrived. We were able to quickly track down the waitress and she was able to put in a beer for me and I had a sharing plate of mac and cheese as I was not that hungry. My food and drink came out within 5-10 minutes and I was able to catch up with everyone else! Great spot to bring out of towners like me and great for groups! Definitely come check out this place when you're visiting Columbia, MO!“

“We hosted our holiday party in their beautiful Star Bar and our event was fantastic! The event planner, Chelsea was wonderful and helped us with everything we needed. The bar staff was friendly, engaging, and made some killer drinks. Would highly recommend for your next party/event!“

“Went in for HH hours on a Thursday. Greeted at the door and was able to sit at a table in the bar area upon request. HH looks to be $5 pint of a draft but I’m assuming it’s limited to certain ones. I did get the flight but prices are based on what beer it is so will vary in price. Friends got the wings and loved them as well at the crab cakes. We split the margarita pizza & the dip with veggies in a bread bowl. Pizza was good, dip platter the veggies were not as fresh as one would hope. It will be fun to go back again and try more things.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants and normally I'd give a 5 star all day long but the last time we was there we saw our waiter 2 or 3 times and drinks never got refilled until we had to ask another waiter which then said she would need to find ours and send him our way and then a order was missing food still a fantastic place to go great food and I'd definitely still recommend them!“

“We used Como Smoke & Fire for our family luncheon, and they did a spectacular job. They kindly and quickly answered my many emails leading up to the event. The day of, they showed up a few minutes early, they were quick and efficient at setting up our buffet tables, they made sure we had everything we needed before they left, and most importantly the food was amazing. We heard nothing but compliments on how great lunch was. For our luncheon, we ordered pulled pork, chicken, smoked baked beans, mac and cheese, and salad. Every item was delicious. We will definitely be using them again for our catering needs.“

“The juice is soooo good, even when the juicer breaks! The people working were so kind and helpful. I am from out of town and went in on a whim. I had no idea what I wanted, but the lady pointed out favorites from both their juice and smoothie menu. A few minutes after ordering, one of the ladies working came up and informed me that the juicer had broken mid-juice. She told me she could either add coconut water to fill the cup to the top (it was almost all made, more than half the cup was already full) or she could refund me. I opted for the coconut water and thank goodness I did, because the juice is delicious! I got the purple rain and would highly recommend trying it if you ever stop in! The space inside is also super cute with a ton of eco-friendly products and cute locally made items!“

“Most food in Columbia is okay at best but this place is AWESOME! From customer service, to food quality, to humour of the service staff, to flexibility of the menu, to ambiance it was just amazing! I have traveled a lot and eaten at a diverse array of establishments, from street carts to fine dining and I can honestly say this is as good as it gets in Como. Please don't go to the DT joints when this place is availible with their high quality food and people. I will also add this is a pretty sensory friendly place to eat especially in the evenings so if you have members of your dining party who don't do well with loud noise and bright TV screens - this is a good option! They have music but relative to other bbq joints its very quiet and the staff are understanding so if you ask I suspect they would make it even quieter if you asked.“
