“I’m not one to take time to leave a review, but this is the exception!

Came here for a work trip and since it was across the street from my hotel figured why not give it a try.

Hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had at an establishment.

The meats - perfectly cooked (and when applicable, exceptional bark). The sauces - phenomenal (I actually went back and bought two to take home).

The sides - somehow, they hold their own with regard to the meats! Standout would be the coleslaw, if you don’t order it you are doing yourself a disservice!!

I’m so happy that I walked into this place; great service, great food, and the local (STL) Fitz Cream Soda was arguably the best cream soda I’ve ever tasted!!!!”

“We are staying at the hotel by it and so far we have ate there both nights. We did take out so dont know much as far as dining in. But the food is very good. We had wings that were good and fried cheese wedges. But our favorite thing is the appetizer Do'jiggers its little small fried cutlets. they are so juicy and the breading is amazing. We ordered them both nights lol. We got a Caesar salad and it was very good and even came with a cheese bread stick. The staff that helped us at the bar take out area were so friendly and nice. Definitely recommend”

“They have very good food. It is not a buffet but order from a menu. The staff is always friendly and greets you when you walk in. My favorite is the chicken lo mein and egg drop soup. My husband loves their hot and sour soup. The parking can be a challenge as there is not a lot of space. The staff is very friendly and efficient.”

“We are staying at the hotel by it and have went every day. I got a dirty soda (they had diet and even some sugar free syrups), we have gotten a peanut butter chocolate dipped cookie (haven't eaten yet but it looks delicious) and we have went for gelato two different times. Its the best i have ever had. Tomorrow we are gonna try the coffee :)”

“We had great experience at The Brick Oven! We held a private party of 60 for my Aunt Lynn, we celebrated 62 years of her teaching dance. The manager, Tina, went above and beyond for this surprise! They are normally closed on Mondays but she had it staffed and opened it up for us! From decorating to Rearranging the tables for 30 of us to reunite to do a Flash Mob dance. The Drinks were flowing, the food was timed and served perfectly and it all tasted amazing. Thank you and your employees for all your hard work and help bringing this special occasion together for us!❤️”

“The food was really good. Just sandwiches, but they rocked. The Rueben has really meat and so did my bacon turkey club.
You get one side with them so I choose the soup. It was chuckles broccoli cheddar. Sooooooo good!
My hubs got chilli, he liked it very much.

“This is a true down home restaurant, a lot of character and good food.
They serve Maid Rite here.
They make their own root beer, too!
Almost as good as my favorite, Fitz's root beer in St Louis, MO.”

“Today was my first visit and I will definitely return. They were so busy & the wait was pretty long. But I am super glad I decided to stay and not go somewhere else with less of a wait time. My chicken quesadilla was probably the best I’ve ever had. And that kale & apple salad was to die for! The price was worth bragging about also. I paid around $10 for my meal! Keep up the good work & I’ll see you again soon.”

“We were on a day trip and stopped and ate here, very good food. My wife had chicken salad & I had the shrimp po boy sandwich, fantastic meals. Our server Hannah was outstanding, professional, very nice, very accommodating. This place deserves at 100%+.”

“As far as Chinese buffets go, this one is actually relatively decent There’s a wide selection of Chinese dishes, and whenever I’ve been there the food has been fresh and relatively tasty. It’s definitely better than the Chinese buffet in Quincy.”

“Anyone who has never had Godfather’s Pizza is missing out. It’s a chain that used to have more franchises, and it’s one that got picky ten year old me to eat something other than cheese pizza. The golden crust is perfect and the sauce’s flavor and heaps of cheese and toppings make this a can’t miss. The best chain pizza. That’s right, Marco’s. Better than even you.
The Express in Hannibal was very efficient. Meya sp? made up fresh cheese bread at my request while taking orders and making personal pizzas, all while washing her hands between each duty. Give that employee a raise.”

“Strongly recommend this restaurant!! I had the ribeye steak sandwich and it was delicious, as well as the Drake tails (curly fries with cheese and pulled pork)!! My Mom had the tenderloin (be hungry if you order or save for lunch or dinner the next day), my husband had the smoked pork steak and loved the flavor of the meat, and Dennis "PAPI" had the smoked brisket ( he had never had brisket before)! Sydney and her family gave us a fabulous end to our vacation!! We will absolutely be back!!! Back to Iowa for now!!”

“Took a cruise up HWY 79 from Elsberry to Hannibal to check out all the fall leaf foliage and stopped in for a late lunch and from Appetizers to the pizza we ordered was all very good and a fair price as well family friendly place definitely recommend”

“If you want a cheap local dive bar with a good karaoke DJ, adequately priced beer and a small town atmosphere, this is it. Pool tables, darts, and sports on TV. It's not great, but it's exactly what you expect it to be, and that's fine.”
