“Honestly I don’t know why people complain about this location. It’s the best one in the area. They FILL their food items every time I go there. I’m not gonna lie, I probably come here at least once a week and they’ve only messed up my order maybe 3x in the last 5 years lol. I went to the byrnes mill location and they’re SOOO much worse. Barely fill your stuff up, mess up orders, catch attitudes about it when you call about it… never had that issue at this location. I’ve even worked there a few years ago. Definitely recommend this location out of the ones in the area.“

“Not sure how there are less than 5 star reviews. They had really good plates to share so you can try everything, amazing cocktails, and everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. All of the tables were full but we were able to get a spot at the bar. I would recommend a reservation.“

“Such a clever set up for a restaurant! You can order right from your seat online or you can see the counter inside. The food is fast and delicious, and also consistently good unlike some restaurants. We will definitely be back for dinner and drinks.“

“I was having a terrible day so I admit I put all my eggs in one basket hoping this place would make up for the rest, but it didn't and I know that's not fair so I will come back. The place was dead when we got there around 6pm. We ordered 2 pollo and 2 carne asada tacos, carne asada fries, and 2 horchatas coming out to around $43. I read a review comparing the carne asada fries to san diego's so I had to try since it's not the first time I had heard SD fry raves. I had lived in AZ where they were to die for so the bar was already set pretty high. The potatoes itself already gave me an OH YEAH feeling, not too heavy with the onion or cilantro, but felt it was missing something. I should've had cheese. I did get guacamole salsa- too spicy to enjoy the guacamole portion for my liking, but it might be good for some! The horchata just needed some more mixing as there was a lot of cinnamon in our servings. (This is probably the 78th serving of horchata i've had in my life, I promise I know what good horchata is for me.) Service was good! The man who checked us out was nice. The guy in the back called my name and pronounced it in a way I had never heard before. I will never forget it lol I'll need to come back and try their paletas and elotes!“

“Just decided to try this place, one of us on a diet and one of us loves fajitas. So far, the salsa That's a hit. Just spicy enough and not so spicy to require a beverage right away. Not heavy on onion(yay) and the jalapeño in the recipe is perfection. My husband ordered the chicken fajita. Looked like fun! It was a hit! So was the angus beef, taco salad! Both dogs she's were very generous on the amount of meat. We will return. Service was friendly. Communication regarding food allergies was difficult. The food was delivered by a different person than the one who took the order. The beans are very good, as is the guacamole! I will be craving the salsa.“

“This place is straight gas. Unassuming from the outside. Quaint on the inside. The food is top tier and it’s halal, which is always a plus. Everything was torch. Definitely would come in again. Everything was fair priced. Don’t sleep on this gem.“

“Very delicious and authentic Mexican food. The best Mexican restaurant option not only in Eureka but in the area in my mind. Great service from the family-run restaurant, in a fun Mexican themed environment. We've tried a different entree on each of our visits and I think we like each dish better than the next. Altos Cantina has quickly become a regular spot on our rotation!“

“Great food, great service. The only thing I would change is making the place bigger. They are always packed, and they are using every inch of the space they have.Parking: Strip mall parking. Worst case you'll walk more than normal.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a bit tight. Not sure how easily they can accommodate wheelchairs. Call first.“

“TL;DR: Not a typical Mexican restaurant, but absolutely awesome atmosphere if you sit outside. We stopped in after a soccer tournament and enjoyed a relaxed meal with family.I had the Brunch French Toast. It's Brioche soaked in horchata. It's a different take on French toast but good.Several other members of our party enjoyed quesadillas and loved them.“

“This restaurant is like walking into your parents house. You are greeted as family, and you can tell the hosts love their job. The food is the best Mexican we've had in the Wildwood/Ballwin area. This is the perfect neighborhood restaurant!“

“Food is very good and fairly priced. They have a decent amount of vegetarian options, which is great and fairly rare in Jefferson County. Staff is friendly and bathrooms were clean. My only issue is that it is very dark inside, like they're trying to save electricity or something.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian section on the menu so options are easy to find. They are all good. If you really want a lot of food and veggies the vegetarian fajitas are the best choice.“

“Food was very delicious and flavorful. I really enjoy authentic Mexican food, and hit the nail on this one. The corn they give you on the side was delicious and sweet and very moist. The drinks were deli's as well. The service was amazing. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. The inside was very clean, spacious and dim lit. Can't wait to go again and try more food.“

“This is a great place for tacos and tortas. Sometimes on Fridays they have an enchilada special which is so good. I love their refried beans the most. They have green and red (orange-ish) salsa in squeeze bottles. The people here are kind and it's always friendly. It's not fancy, but it always hits the spot and I'm never disappointed. It's attached to a small grocery and on the side of the plaza, so a bit of diligence to find it.“

“We enjoyed a great evening at El Maguey, taking advantage of their pleasant outdoor seating. I opted for the combination meal and complemented it with a margarita, both of which were delicious. While I didn't catch the server's name, the service she provided was truly outstanding. El Maguey offers a well-rounded dining experience that left us thoroughly satisfied.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available.“

“You won’t be disappointed.El agave is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Not only is the food great, but it’s family owned and they are delightful! We always have a great experience there and love supporting such an amazing family.“

“The food here tastes authentic to me (a very white lady, who at least has been to Mexico quite a few times!). It's honestly delicious, I have never had anything not good here. Staff is friendly. Margaritas do not disappoint. The chips and salsa are on point. Particularly love the fajitas, but burritos, enchiladas, nachos, taquitos are all really yummy! It's kind of a whole in the wall vibe, but it's definitely a clean, and enjoyable, and fun atmosphere.“

“We have lived in High Ridge for 15 years now and had tried Que Pasa occasionally through-out the years and while the food was usually good, it was not good enough to get us coming back for more. After Covid we decided to give it another try and were very pleased with our meals. The service is always prompt and friendly (Waitress Tracy is the absolute best. Such a sweetie!!) Their carnitas platter and taco's are amazing. Salsa extremely good and all the other dishes I have tried (when I don't get Carnitas) are solid. Glad we decided to give them another try.“

“Oh my!! We had the best meal here. It immediately transported me to Mexico , my husband to his grandmothers kitchen and my son to all of his work abuelita's lunches they would bring him. It filled our stomachs and hearts. Mexican comfort food at its best. And the margaritas were not just mixer and tequila. They were delicious too. We will definitely be back.“
“The kids menu has Mexican and American options. The fajitas were delicious and warm on a cold day! Our server was very friendly, polite, and kept up with our requests.Parking: Plenty of close parking.Kid-friendliness: The kids meals were small, I have a 9 year old scrawny little girl that eats like a 40 year old man we ordered an extra burrito for. Our 5 and 8 year old were full from the meals. I really appreciated the meal variety for kids. We also ordered macaroni and cheese and chicken fingers that came with some really good fries.“

“Food was excellent but our service was incredible. We stopped for dinner one night and then to the bar another night while traveling. Each night we had Cassie as our server and she was amazing. Her attention to detail and customer service was far above any service I have had in a while. If we lived in the area, we would be repeat customers.“

“I love the food but your chips for your chips and salsa are too hard! No need for a thick chip when your salsa is puréed.I’ll keep it simple, I love the food I love the drinks, and I think his name is Justo always takes care of us. If you like spicy food, I recommend the Alambre fajitas..Vegetarian options: Since vegetarians don’t eat meat, but they do eat cheese. You can pretty much order anything and just take off the meat.“

“Every Mexican restaurant has its own particular taste, this one is the type I like. Prices are reasonable. Food was served hot. Service was good. Margaritas were good. The exterior isn't anything exceptional as it's just in a strip mall, but the inside is colorful and roomy.“

“Criminally underrated! So easy to plug in an order on their website, pay with Apple Pay, and pick it up while getting a few groceries. I got the bulgogi steak burrito. It was ready in 3 minutes from ordering. The flavor was incredible. If you're picky or looking for traditional Mexican, this is not for you... but I have yet to try anything that I don't like. The Asian flair is awesome. Going to be a staple for me when looking for quick serve. Definitely no reason to go to chipotle when you have better options like this!“

“Food is as amazing as always. Our server tonight was great she was funny and quick definitely couldn't have asked for a better server.Parking: There is plenty of parking as they have a giant gravel lot next to the building and the library which closes fairly early so there is more than enough parking“
