At the big green competitor across town you can always tell that the espresso is not changed properly and comes off dirty or ashy in taste. “I’ve only had a chance to eat here one time so far, but I have to say, the strawberry pecan salad was the best I’ve had anywhere. They were short staffed, which any business owner can vouch, it is so hard to find good help, but the owner was there working and went to the back to I assume help prep the food, they were pretty busy, with just two people working and she was kind and friendly the entire time. I think the bad reviews on here are bogus, like not real. There’s no way. Food is great, customer service was great, and it was a stressful time when I was in there, so to me that’s testimony to being able to perform under pressure with the best of them. I look forward to trying their Buffalo burger and some of the other unique menu items. Keep up the good work. California, MO needs you!!”

“This is the best food in town! If they are open this is a no brainer. Really good Burritos, I had the Medium (the large is LARGE) Steak Burrito with both kinds of salsa. There is even a nice covered spot to eat outside.”

“During the course of the last 6 years I have visited the Ellis bakery several times and will continue to do so on a regular basis. Mr and Mrs Ellis operate the bakery which supplies bread and rolls for a number of businesses in the county and surrounding area. On Friday and Saturday evenings the bakery makes pizza from scratch! They have a wide variety of pizza and it is absolutely delicious. The proportions are large you can have the pizza any way you want it with an assortment of toppings and again it's absolutely delicious the price is very reasonable.They also have delicious cinnamon rolls available on the Pizza nights.”

“This is a great place for dessert It is within walking distance of a California motel and employees and managers are a great team of people as well I have traveled many countries in life but when I end up in my hometown this is more than home sweet home My kids love it.
