“Great food, games were so much fun, service was great, and would definitely recommend for family or friends. Only thing I wish was better was the cost of drinks was about the same as the food, so wish they would make those a little more reasonable. All in all spent $70 for 4 people for about 2 hours of fun.“
“Have you ever considered driving 4 hours out of state on the weekend to eat somewhere? I can say I have with Ecco Lounge. I’ve been twice, both during trips to do a ghost hunt at Missouri State Penitentiary. I am so in love with Ecco Lounge that I am daydreaming about it! The atmosphere is incredible. I love the historic, old school vibes-it makes it comfortable but also there’s a lot to learn about the history! The staff is always friendly. One of the waitresses even recognized us last time from the year before! The food is the cherry on top. I haven’t had a single item there I didn’t absolutely love and I must say, the prices are super fair for the portions you get! So much cheaper than many other places! If you’re looking for historic vibes and amazing food served with a smile, Ecco Lounge is where you need to eat. If there’s any wait at all, I promise it is well worth it.“
“Ate here in August 2023. GREAT GREAT food. We were riding the Katy Trail and staying at the Katy Cottages just up the road. So nice to have an awesome restaurant where we could get food and drinks within walking distance of the cottages.“
“Been here a few times for dinner, and it was generally good. Wait staff was sometimes inexperienced and didn't seem to quite have the concept of customer service down (but other times was excellent). BUT, just tried their lunch buffet for the first time yesterday and wow, it was *great*. Just the basics that appeal to mid-MO people: fried chicken, fried catfish, mashed potatoes, green beans, two other veg, mac and cheese...very traditional, but sooooooo nicely done. The vegetables were surprisingly good, even the broccoli. Service was excellent, and the kitchen kept the buffet well stocked even though it was busy. Price is, I think, $10.99 each, total came to $30-something for two, maybe drinks are extra, not sure--but so worth it (and really that's pretty cheap compared to almost every restaurant right now).“
“Bad timing on service. Usually, it is much better, but what will you do with a playoff game playing simultaneously? I will be back, and it will be as great as usual.Kid-friendliness: It is great with kids and has fantastic options for them as well.“
“Hubby and I went there for the first time tonight, pleasantly surprised with the food and atmosphere. Prices aren't bad at all. We will definitely be going back, it's small and quaint per say. We felt as we did when we're back home at one of our favorite places, before moving up here 20 yrs “
“Although they only sell chips and slim jims, they're the best chips and slim jims in town! And even though it IS a Cubs bar, it is a good ol boy, friendly kind of establishment. Yes they serve world famous Lunchboxes (a shot of sorts, it's in a huge beer mug so don't be shocked), but I love to frequent there for the fun conversation, strong drinks, and awesome bartenders. Oh and there are darts if you wanna throw something sharp at a wall hoping it'll stick.“
