In my opinion, the best Mexican restaurant in town! Truly a hidden gem and I encourage everyone who loves Mexican food to try this place!”

“Ate at JQ's on High today with my family and was very impressed by the food and the people working! I can't recommend this place enough. I had the Dogg-Father and it was easily the best hot dog I've ever had. I'm currently eating my wife's leftover pork nachos and I wish I would have tried the burgers as well, they looked amazing.”

“We got the quesatacos with birria and pork. Also got the consomme plus chips and guacamole. The tacos were super flavorful, but heavy. I would go without the cheese next time, or split an order of cheese ones. The guacamole was great too- really acidic and fresh. Will definitely be back.”

Our waitress Brooke was very attentive,not hovering, enough to take care of whatever extra we might need. Oscar's is my favorite place to eat when I'm in Jefferson City. “After traveling to 23 different countries and multiple states, I can honestly say that those burger ranks in the top three so far.Only one does the burger have a well balance flavor, but the meat was not dry.The restaurant itself was nice, I love a dark atmosphere with my failing eye sight, the music was a bit loud but for a the ambiance it was understandable.Food prices well fare, especially in this economy, ranging from 13 to 21, and within 10 minutes of ordering the food was out.The soda fountain also features unique sodas rather then the standard Coke and Pespi products, which was a nice change of pace”

The man who seated us and took our orders was extremely pleasant but not overly intrusive. The food was close but a little bit above the normal Mexican restaurant fare. But they had a salsa bar... Holy mother of pearls, it was amazing. Avacado salsa, Pico de Pina, salsa Verde, a mango salsa, grilled jalapenos, grilled small onions bulbs, several other salsas, wow!It took the meal to a whole new level. I now see there is a difference in Mexican restaurants and this place is by far our favorite.”

“Have you ever considered driving 4 hours out of state on the weekend to eat somewhere? I can say I have with Ecco Lounge. I’ve been twice, both during trips to do a ghost hunt at Missouri State Penitentiary. I am so in love with Ecco Lounge that I am daydreaming about it! The atmosphere is incredible. I love the historic, old school vibes-it makes it comfortable but also there’s a lot to learn about the history! The staff is always friendly. One of the waitresses even recognized us last time from the year before! The food is the cherry on top. I haven’t had a single item there I didn’t absolutely love and I must say, the prices are super fair for the portions you get! So much cheaper than many other places! If you’re looking for historic vibes and amazing food served with a smile, Ecco Lounge is where you need to eat. If there’s any wait at all, I promise it is well worth it.”

He greeted us, recommended and poured our wine! He informed us that they were celebrating 43 years of business and we had great conversation with him and he frequently checked back!! “We drove from St. Louis and arrived about 20 min before they were closing on Sunday night. They were kind enough to serve us but rushed the food out too quickly -- rice noodles in Pad See Ew were still harder than they should have been. Both the Pad See Ew and Cashew Chicken entrees were small portions and too sweet for our taste, but that's often dependent on the chef's tastes. When traveling we usually order 2 entrees for 3 of us, plus an appetizer, so that we don't have leftovers. Our 2 entrees were not really big enough to share. This restaurant is probably better for single diners who don't want leftovers. The Fresh rolls were not bad but too dry from being full of cabbage.”

“My daughter invited me and her friend here for lunch as she had discovered this Deli with her sister. She had raved about their sandwiches and potato salad. She was right, I had the turkey with the fixings...it was delicious, and I could only eat half. Also, I had the browinie...it was scrumptious ?. “We arrived just as they were switching to lunch. We had their breakfast meals. The potaoes were small, tender, and spiced. The guy behind the counter was funny snd very accomodating. He couldn't reach the signs to switch them, so had a tall employee do it for him. He said they could still serve breakfast, but we couldn't remember the numbered choices. He said "Hey tall guy, come and switch the signs again." We all laughed.”

“The Stars I awarded in this review are for this specific restaurant as they're the only ones that generally get my order correct however the reason it's not five stars across the board it's because of their app since it has updated it has been a nightmare I've used it multiple times a week for the last 4 years but at this last update it has gone to complete garbage it has cost me money it has caused negative activity on my credit card and this is infuriating I know the last time I reviewed Sonic on here somebody reached out to me over a negative review but I'm leaving a positive review but furious about the app just one example in Springfield Missouri I updated it and kept updating it until it showed me the location that I was currently at and I hit order here everything went through and as soon as I hit place order it switched to a location 18 miles away so I threw away the money I spent on that and that's just the beginning of it.”

“The owners Trish & Derek are the nicest people. Tanner, who works there is very nice. Trish is a talented baker. She makes the most beautiful yummy goodies. “I have been eating salads at Mod for a while and I've tried them from different areas such as Columbia and St Louis but today I had my salad prepared by Madison and she did an exceptional job. “Obie's is a hidden gem for thin crust pizza. Small operation in an old style pool hall. They pile on the ingredients. Sweet people making delicious pizza. Best in Jeff City in my opinion and about 10% cheaper too. Shoot a game or have a beer while you wait!!”

Had it been hot it would have knocked any wing/chicken joint out of the water. My only truly negative critique is the fries are horrible. But that could be a matter of opinion. I'd still recommend them to anybody when they get the process ironed out they will be great. 3 out of 5”

“We had dinner tonight at your restaurant. The food was great and one of the servers Lucky was amazing. However one of the servers was extremely rude and condescending. I told her the tea didn't taste fresh and she told me tea doesn't go bad and said it doesn't matter and walked away. When she came back to the table I asked to speak with her and told her the comment felt dismissive. She said that wasn't what she meant and I told her I understood but it felt that way. While I was still talking she said let me see what else you ordered and walked off. I asked her to see a manager and she said the manager wasn't in but she would check and that the manager didn't speak English well. I asked to speak to someone in charge and she said there was no one there and she couldn't give us a discount or give us anything free. I explained to her that we had not asked for anything discounted or free and she repeated that they couldn't and there was no one we could talk to. We had Lucky come back to the table and she apologized for her coworker and repeatedly told us how sorry she was and that was the other server has been that way with other customers. We came to Love Sushi tonight while in town visiting my brother. We will be back but will refuse service from the rude server we had tonight.”
