“Food was great. The owner and employee are really nice and attentive. The food did not take long to come out. The samosas are pretty good. They’re full of flavor and they’re not chalky like some samosas can be.The unholy cow sandwich is pretty good. The meat is tender and flavorful. The vegetables on the salad add a nice layer of texture and crisp fresh flavor. The paneer is firm and full of flavor. The fries are great.I really like the iced masala chai. It’s sweet and refreshing. If you’re going to get a drink from the bar at Parlor, I’d recommend trying pairing it with the Goodbye Earl.“
“Went here on a whim with my partner about an hour from closing and we got the best service we’ve ever had in kansas city to date! I believe the owner was the one that took our order and he and his staff were very attentive being that it was our first time. Grilled chicken and tikka masala was amazing! Nice and wholesome atmosphere to have lunch or a late dinner. We will be coming back!“
“The staff was polite, the dining room was immaculate and the food was amazing.Vegetarian options: Large selection of both vegetarian and vegan dishes. Most vegetarian items can be prepared vegan upon request. I’ve noticed that most restaurants in the area have little to no vegan options, whereas Seva offers a wonderful array of plant based dishes, all of which are customizable including the level of spice.Kid-friendliness: Seva may have the cleanest dining room and buffet area I have ever seen. Dishes are customizable for picky eaters. My 6 year noticed that the lunch buffet is at a height where he could actually see the dishes and he wants to go back and eat there next time instead of ordering carry out. They also replaced the drink he dropped.“
“This place is a hidden gem! They have won many awards since they opened and you will see why. The food is absolutely AMAZING! I usually order online, but we went to the restaurant a few days ago and it’s even better than expected. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a very fun and elegant atmosphere. The food is exceptional! Try the Chicken Tikka Marsala! It is amazing especially with some garlic naan! The service was exceptional. We were seated quickly and received our food very quickly. This is the best Indian restaurant in the area and I would argue in all of Kansas City. You will not be disappointed!“
“This restaurant is a small place at the end of a small strip mall, directly across the street from the Oracle Cerner Innovations campus. They have a small but varied selection of curry dishes, suitable for those who need mild flavors to those who like spicy. Service is quick and courteous.“
“The Korma was delicious, but I ordered plain Nan and received garlic Nan. This may seem trivial, but I ordered plain for a reason. Wish I had realized the restaurant had substituted garlic for plain before eating a portion of the bread. Have been going to Moti Mahal for years, but this was my first delivery. I thought i would receive the same service. Won't be returning or ordering online. .“
“It’s as its name says. Curry in a hurry. Large portions but the flavor just isn’t there that you would get from a sit down place. The nann was ok just stiff from sitting for awhile. The place wasnt horrible but definitely not the best to where we would want to come back. Worth at least trying.“
“A small spice shop in the middle of the River Market, Tikka House has some of the best Indian food I've had in a while. I truly enjoyed the chicken Tikka wrap. It was just spicy enough, with a cooling dressing and delicious, perfectly cook rice. A definite winner. While you wait foe your food, don't forget to check out the amazing array for spice blends.“
“Lunch buffet $19.95 and yummy! Usual buffet options, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, chicken biryani, navratan korma, lentils, naan, veggie pakoras, chicken samosas, salad bar, chai. Slightly different than my usual place that hasn't brought back their lunch buffet yet.“
“I came in for the buffet at opening. The buffet food was delicious and full flavored. I can only imagine what the regular menu food is like. Friendly service and good atmosphere. Ive been to around 5 or six other places in KC and this is definitely tied for first. Swagat in the Northland is also really good. Overall a great Indian Restaraunt.“
“I've only ordered delivery from here. The food has been delicious Everytime and now it's one of my go-to spots for Indian food. The Thali platter lets me try several of their dishes at once and I was quite delighted, my favorites are the Tikka masala, the butter chicken, the vegetable korma, and dal makhany.5 stars for the food, the convenience, and the options.“
“How has this restaurant not been on the list for KC Restaurant Week? It should DEFINITELY be on the list for 2025!When I walked in, it felt like I had just been enfolded into a family dinner. Approximately 6-7 booths lined the room with several individual tables and chairs peppering the rest of the space. People quietly dined, while the staff worked quickly and efficiently: cooks prepared dishes in the back and waitresses welcomed and served guests up front. A long table sat in front of the cook's window lined with take-out orders, and the smells wafting from the kitchen would make anyone's mouth water. My friend and I ordered a dinner for two which consisted of Veggie Pakora, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Curry, Rice, 2 Plain Naan, and the choice of either Kheer (a childhood favorite) or Gulab Jamun for under $50.00. We were also given complementary pakora with two different sauces when we first sat down. Needless to say, we took over half the food home. But people, the food...PHENOMENAL!From the first bite, I deemed this restaurant the ONLY Indian restaurant I would eat at in Kansas City, and if I DID eat at any other Indian restaurant I would always compare it with this one. EVERY dish earned a rating of 9 or 10 -- some I would have given an 11or 12.I came across Sahara Fine Indian Cuisine when a friend came to visit Kansas City the first of March. I have now been back at least 3 times. My friend called me when he returned to the East Coast and said he was dreaming about the Chicken Tikka Masala. It is hard because as much as I feel everyone should know about Sahara, I also want to keep it to myself because I truly treasure it. You know the feeling -- you find a place that you deem your own and while you want to share how great it is, you worry by doing so it will somehow change. But, honestly, I can't keep it to myself.Go to Sahara Fine Indian Cuisine at Tiffany Springs. You may think you are at the wrong place as you see the strip of little shops and Home Depot in the background, but trust me, you are exactly where you need to be.I dare you to go and walk away without calling it YOUR new favorite Indian restaurant.“
