My husband couldn't decide between the gumbo and the venision chili. Our server recommended the gumbo and we are so glad she did! it is amazing, seriously some of the best we've ever had. It is so full of flavor yet not too spicy. The roux was phenomenal. The fried chicken was crispy, well seasoned, and juicy. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The only reason we are disappointed is that we live 4 hours away and won't be able to come back frequently.
We tried Lulas today based on reccomendations and I have to say this place is phenomenal. Everything was delicious but the highlights were the green beans & ham as well as the biscuits. I'm not typically a biscuit person and I could eat these every day.They source as much of their food locally as possible which I love.We tried the fried chicken and fried spare ribs. 10/10 we will be back.
