It is one of our Christmas traditions to have Chinese food every Christmas Eve (think A Christmas Story). This year we chose Red Wok and are happy we did. The interior is on the small side and rather nondescript if not plain. The good news was the service provided by Luis. He was personable, talkative, and attentive. This is truly the most fresh, delicious Chinese food I have ever eaten! We have been there numerous times and we are never disappointed. No one has come close to this for us, especially at the price point This is a hidden gem in Kansas City. The employees provide wonderful Service.

First visit to Red Wok for lunch. For $8.50 you get an entree with choice of meat, soup (wonton, eggdrop or hot and sour) and an appetizer (crab rangoon or eggroll). My order was straightforward-pork mei fun, crab rangoon and wonton soup but the booth next to me had young children and asked to modify some of the dishes for them. It was absolutely no problem! Service was quick and food was very fresh tasting. Definitely worth another visit or 3!
