It was a pleasure doing business with the new owners also this morning. She honored an old gift certificate from the previous owner. I felt a little guilty but the cherry turnover was delicious and so was everything else. I plan to do business with her again! The apple fritters are crispy and delicious! I also recommend the chocolate cake and blueberry.The ladies at the counter have a kind smile and a happy positive attitude.This is my favorite place for donuts.

While passing through from Texas on my way to NE Missouri, I stopped in this morning to get a couple of the large jalapeño sausage rolls (my usual at any donut shop I go to). Theirs are AMAZING! Warm, soft, yet flaky roll with a plump, juicy sausage inside. Not sure what sausage they use, but perfect flavor and spice. The casing was stiff enough that it gave you a pleasurable pop while gently bitting down while breaking through the flaky layers. The meat-to-bread ratio was perfect....read full review
