“While passing through from Texas on my way to NE Missouri, I stopped in this morning to get a couple of the large jalapeño sausage rolls (my usual at any donut shop I go to). Theirs are AMAZING! Warm, soft, yet flaky roll with a plump, juicy sausage inside. Not sure what sausage they use, but perfect flavor and spice. The casing was stiff enough that it gave you a pleasurable pop while gently bitting down while breaking through the flaky layers. The meat-to-bread ratio was perfect. Seems like Texas donut shops have gone downhill using smaller sausages with larger rolls. Thank you Daylight Donut for your friendly service and incredible products. Will have to time my return trip so I can stop in again next week.“

“You'll love everything about this place except for the coffee. Service with a smile and the most delicious selection of donuts you could possibly hope for. The apple fritters are a must as well as the cinnamon rolls but I may be biased as those are my favorites. Process are fair as well. Enjoy!!!Kid-friendliness: They are extremely patient with the kids as they take their time deciding on which colorful donut they would like to sprinkle all over my floor mat. So worth the mess!!!“
