“First time eating here! Literally the best- affordable breakfast items you’ll find in the st.charles area. Normally I spend $10-15 on one item so I have to choose, NOT here! I ordered both biscuits n gravy which are literally a chefs kiss and let me tell you I ordered 30 min before close! And I also got the steak sandwhich, delicious! Thank you meme’s! Will be back“
“Great brunch place. I appreciate the table service which was excellent. The menu selection was varied and I was very pleased with my selection of half a salad and half of a sandwich.Wheelchair accessibility: Zero grade entry. Tables and accessible bathrooms.“
“Lovely little breakfast place. The Potato Pancakes were amazing! It is so hard to find a place with Potato Pancakes, so it was fantastic to find they not only have them, but have fantastic ones. We ordered several other dishes that were delicious too, but those Potato Pancakes are the star for sure! Can't wait til we are back in the area to have them again.Vegetarian options: Nice variety of Vegetarian Breakfast options.“
“Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Every plate had vibrant colors and a variety of lovely textures. The hash browns had a perfectly even layer of golden brown crisp to them. The pico de gallo was bright and authentic. The only part I didn't love was the chorizo, which was fine but not as rich and well-spiced as the chorizo I'm used to. The atmosphere is very conducive to long conversations and multiple cups of coffee or rounds of drinks, if you're into that at breakfast. Overall, this place is what First Watch wanted to be when it was a kid but never lived up to.“
“Finally made it to Honey Bees for some biscuits and gravy along with a breakfast Sammie. The 2 guys working the counter were warm and welcoming when I walked up. Of course, I wanted to try the biscuits & gravy as it's one of my go tos at any breakfast restaurant. The gravy was very delicious as I selected the classic sausage gravy. The reason I state classic is they have 3 choices of gravy. Yes, you heard me right 3 homemade gravies to select from for your huge biscuits with gravy. Sausage gravy, spicy sausage gravy, or vegan choice mushroom gravy. My only criticism would be to cut the biscuit in half, pour some gravy over it, then put the top back on and pour gravy over the top. The reason I say that is there needs to be more gravy as it's a huge biscuit, and I needed more gravy. Otherwise, it was too much biscuit and not enough gravy. Now they had Sammie, so I definitely had to try one. I selected the egg, cheese, and sausage Sammie. Nuw you get a choice on the type of biscuit for your Sammie. Love that they have different choices on their items. The biscuit choices are honey glazed or Midwest rancher, which is a spicy biscuit. You know me, I had to try the Midwest rancher biscuit. I haven't tried it yet, that will be breakfast or lunch tomorrow. I can tell you ita huge as are all their biscuits. My choice was egg, sausage, and cheese on the Midwest rancher biscuit. I looked at it and really smart the cook the egg in a square shape with great seasoning, sausage patty was big too boot and cheese was nice & fresh not a slice. So tomorrow, I will update you on the Sammie. Prices are definitely reasonable for these huge biscuit dishes, for sure. Also, there is inside or outdoor seating. Nice stop while you're out shopping for a quick bite to eat there or for take home, which was my preference. Need to take my little brother there so he can try out the tasty, delicious, huge biscuits. I really enjoy supporting local businesses for such fabulous homemade dishes.“
“Met up with a friend today at one of my favorite brunch spots, First Watch. We went to the one located on Streets of St. Charles. Their fresh food, juices, and eclectic menu makes it so you can always try something new. They have specialties each month, and I suggest you go before the end of February and try their barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl!! Today I had the morning meditation juice and the barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a party in my mouth! The braised beef barbacoa mixed with the eggs, beans, and other seasonings. My friend opted for the Italian Inspired omelet. You can put a reservation in online prior to arrival on busy days (like Saturday). The wait was not long this morning, and the food makes the wait worth it. One thing I like about Fresh Watch is the continuity across the chain in that regardless of which restaurant you choose the food is always good and fresh. Great service. Stop in and check them out…try something new!“
“The atopmshere is small yet intimate. The waitresse was very informative and polite. She checked in at the right times. The menu was like front and back. So it was a lot on it, but lesser product because you can change around what you are getting. The food was good. I ordered a BLT. It was just okay but my potatoes were really good. My potatoes were hot, my bacon tasted like it had been sitting out. My BFF ordered breakfast, pancake, which was huge, and eggs, sausage, and bacon. Same thing you get at IHOP but cheaper at IHOP. She said it was good and she enjoyed it. The restrooms were ok, 2 stalls, it wasn't dirty or trashed. The place is small and you can eat outside. The menu has a lot of healthy products on it, breads, pancakes etc.Parking: It's in a strip mall with other businesses. The lot is not that big.“
“My parents live in Kirkwood, so we've been coming here for breakfast for years. The service is always awesome and the food is consistently good. A caveat of this is that there's almost always a line/wait, but with quality like you find here.... that's just another indicator to us that it's really worth it. Cute place too! We love it!“
“Place is always popping on a weekend morning but they offer a waiting list online to put your name in to help shorten your overall time. Food is always amazing and we love the coffee refills! Everything is decently priced and even when it's crowded you get your food pretty quickly. First watch never disappoints “
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shack's Breakfast & Lunch and overall, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that our dining experience was top-notch. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate special requests truly stood out.The food at Shack's was delicious and satisfying, with a variety of breakfast and lunch options to choose from. The portions were generous and the dishes were well-prepared. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall charm of the restaurant. However, I would rate Shack's Breakfast & Lunch a 4.5 stars because I found the water served to be a bit interesting. It had a different taste than what I was used to, which was a minor drawback for me. Despite this, I would still highly recommend Shack's for a tasty meal and excellent service. I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu offerings in the future.“
“We love meeting up with friends. Food is great and plentiful! We have .et up at various locations. All good.Vegetarian options: Always accom.odates food allergies or preferences.Dietary restrictions: I have a diary allergy, and they are very helpful.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible for walkers, cane-assisted, or wheelchairs.“
“Our Sunday afternoon hunger led us to So Deity Diner, in Florissant. Their breakfast spread was a pleasant surprise. Eggs were spot-on, biscuits and gravy hit the spot, and the bacon was cooked just right. I also snagged a bite of my partner's chicken and waffles--yum! The chicken was flavorful and crunchy, and the waffle was fluffy yet crispy. Definitely beats other breakfast joints in the area. Can't wait to swing by again for another tasty morning meal! Service was good. Waitress sat us promptly and she was quick bringing water to our table. Ambiance was good, they had a good playlist going. They also have TouchTunes jukebox. It's an older building they are in which makes it not as comfortable but overall they are doing okay with the space they have.“
“First watch is the best breakfast place for a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Their food is always good and service is always efficient. Their coffee comes by the pot and is refillable and they offer so many breakfast options with decent portions. I always end up leaving full with leftovers “
“I recently dined Clover & The Bee and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was so quiet and relaxed, it was the perfect spot to unwind. But what really stole the show was the food and drinks! Their chocolate martinis were to die for - rich, creamy, and utterly decadent. But what really impressed me was the service. Our waitress was so attentive and knowledgeable. When I mentioned I had gluten intolerance, she went above and beyond to investigate which dishes included gluten and suggested alternatives. She even double-checked with the kitchen to make sure I was safe.On top of the excellent service, the food was delightful! Overall, I'm so impressed with Clover & The Bee. The combination of great food, drinks, and service makes it a must-visit spot. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free crackers in lieu of the pita with the hummus.“
“Absolutely wonderful place to go. The restaurant gives me a welcoming comfort feeling. The food was amazing! I had the pancake trio flight which came with a raspberry cheesecake pancake, a cinnamon roll pancake, and an Oreo s'mores pancake. They were delicious. I also had a side of turkey bacon and it was perfectly crispy. My husband had a cheeseburger and he said it tastes like how he thinks a cheeseburger in a commercial would taste. The fries were so good too! Friendly staff, food was out quick and hot. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back! Thank you!“
“I came in this morning for breakfast and was helped by Echo. I hope I am getting her name right. She was friendly and so hard working. The food was excellent. This was my first breakfast being back in the states after 3 years of living abroad and everything about it was perfect. I got the spicy poblano omelette with hashbrowns. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Echo was the only server, it was very early, but she was so fast and attentive and friendly to everyone who was there.“
“People here are very nice but it seems they are so used to their script and laying it on so thick that when a person walks in and just wants to see a menu they get confused.I am in town on a business trip and I have some dietary limitations so I wanted to see if they had menu items that fit my diet and my expense limitations. It seemed like I made the woman's head explode when I asked to see a menu and after the fact she kind of made me feel like she thought there was something wrong with me.The rest of the experience was nice but the older ladies there lay it on pretty thick with their interactions with you. The younger ladies seem to be a bit more real with you. I don't fault these ladies for working super hard for their tips and I applaud them for doing so because it must be super exhausting for them because the level of effort they put in to it is extreme. The prices are reasonable, the people there are nice, and the food is good so I would definitely recommend this place.“
“I used McSmith's Kitchen & Catering for my friend's bridal shower. They had the perfect option for the number of people we were hosting and it was significantly cheaper than most of the other places we had checked out. The people I dealt with were super friendly & offered delivery to the event. They have some of the best gooey butter cake I've ever had & their salads and pasta salad were raved on by the guests at the shower. I highly recommend and would use them again!“
“This is the most amazing place I think I have ever been!! Everything there is amazing! I brought my gluten-free boyfriend on a date here and he said that he had never had a better gluten-free breakfast. The eggs are amazing and the bacon and pancakes are wonderful. If I could rate this 6 stars I would. Our server was nice and the overall theme and atmosphere of the place just deserved a five-star review.“
“The decor is kind of all over the place in an eclectic, endearing kind of way. I bring the kids almost every week and they love it here. The donuts are basic, but done well. The breakfast food is very diner-style, but the kids love it. Good family spot for a reasonably priced breakfast.Kid-friendliness: Bring my kids here once a week and they love it.“
“I felt loved doing my lunch at your Waffle House. Your waiters and cook were amazing, and the food was cooked to my request. Waffle, eggs, bacon, grits, etc. Yummy...I always like eating in waffe Houses maybe once in a while. But over the years, this Tuesday, I stopped in at your restaurant. The services and your workers were excellent. They even played music on the jukebox. I had been there before, but the staff you have working there deserved a raise. They were amazing. You can look up the waiters and cook for Tuesday, 2 April 2024. I did tip them well, but maybe an appreciative cash award would be great from you. Their smiles & services were right on time.I appreciate your servicers. I'll continue to stop into your Waffle House on St. Charles' Capitol Dr.When I want a good meal. Grade, I give your restaurant and staff is A+God bless all, Ms. Rosie Turner ??❤️?Parking: Waffle HouseI 70 West & Capitol Dr.St. Charles, MOGod Bless! ???“
“First time visiting this spot while visiting my Dad. He enjoys coming here and I can see why. The food was delicious. I cleaned up that skillet dish and was sad when I realized the consumption was over. Obviously I'd had enough and I was full. But... The flavors were so good I was just bummed when it was done.“
“This location is on their game! Food is hot, fresh, and fast! Service is on point, and the employees are hard workers! Especially, Drew! Great cook, takes care, and puts lots of effort into keeping the line clean. I highly recommend this location!“
“The crew that was working the morning of 10/30/23 was awesome. Food was out within 5 minutes. They all had good communication and all seemed to enjoy their job. The energy was 10/10. Best food service on Saint Charles Rock Road by far. Whoever is managing this place needs some recognition as well as the employees making it happen.“
“Exquisite cuisine. I had an amusing take on hash browned potatoes. I believe that they were " smothered, covered, splattered and scattered. " My compliments to the chef. I believe his name was "Bubba" and also to our delightful hostess her name was possibly Flo or Velma.“
“I literally eat waffle house 3 times a week and it's wonderful every time I go!!Vegetarian options: Hashbrowns, waffles, biscuitsDietary restrictions: Menu is clear about dietary restrictionsParking: Huge parking lot easy to get in and out of!!Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Definitely wide enough for a wheelchair“
“A friend & I went in late evening and were the only customers, so we had the waitress's and even the cook's full attention. My friend had a breakfast plate & I tried the Cheesesteak Hash brown bowl. When my food arrived, I thought it looked a bit ordinary, but Boy oh Boy, was it Tasty!!!The waitress had suggested I have grilled onions added, which I did and the dish was great. As we were the only ones there we got excellent service And good food!As they are open 24/7 it is very good for an after hours bite!“
“Omgsh the staff was so sweet and amazing even when my autistic daughter had a full on melt down they were super stars about it. The food was amazing! Would highly recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: Had a ramp on the entrance and a nice big bathroom.“
“On Saturday 3/9 my Mom, Sister and I had breakfast at this location and we were blessed to be in the presence of Renee. Renee was so genuinely kind, not only to us, but to every person that walked into the restaurant. Renee made sure we had everything we needed! Renee even helped me move to a different seat because my seat was close to the cash register and the online orders kept being placed in front of me by another team member. Renee you make this location shine and I'm so grateful you helped us when we can in!!!!! Keep shining bright!“
