“Good food.. just wish the waiter would have worried about our table just as much as the larger table. Not good for it to take 1.5 hours before your main food arrived.. but could have just been a off night.. still like the place and will go again in the future.“

“This review was originally a lot lower when I first wrote it... 2 starts at first. Im glad I waited to write it because what started off rocky ended so well.We came in and were seated right away. We ordered, but it was taking a long time to get our food. Turns out, they mispalced our ticket order... twice. The servers were very kind (except for 1 of them), but it was chaotic and not well organized. 4 other parties who came in after us got their food before we did. It was not a complicated order (deluxe biscuits and gravy and Traditional breakfast), so we had decided to leave. The owner then came out, hand delivered our food, and apologized for the inconvenience. So, we decided to stay.Let me tell you... the food was worth the wait. SOO DELICIOUS. Easily the best biscuits and gravy and I've ever had. Additionally, the fried potatos were exceptional; perfectly crisp and well seasoned. We didn't walk away stuffed and bloated; it was just the right amount. The only other downside was that they didn't do anything to comp our order in spite of the less than stellar service at the beginning. A little disappointing. We almost walked out, but Im so glad we didn't. We will be back next time we're in town! Thanks, Nadia!“

“Excellent service each time, which always makes a difference when you eat out. Delicious food, my go-to are the "2 for you" options. Salads, soups, and sandwiches are all delicious. Some items are not worth the price IMO, such as the pancakes. The tables in the far back can get loud, long wait times during brunch.“

“Lets start with the good:This is a great little restaurant with some the best breakfast food in Saint Louis. With a wide variety of of breakfast and lunch options its no wonder it was rated the best breakfast restaurant in 2018The bad:Waiting for seating is a bit of a pain, with little communication from staff on seating status.Getting someone to anwser the phone is like pulling teeth, when someone does finally pick up they are usually a bit short and rude, so to go order are a pain.Lastly the restaurant is completely safe during the day but the area can get a little rough at night.“

“The people who work at this fine establishment are most definitely the best that you can find in the food service industry. Also, the restaurant is one of a dying breed that has stayed open with 24-hour service after COVID.Vegetarian options: It is a short-order restaurant so if you can think of it they'll be happy to make what ever you can dream up.Dietary restrictions: They try really hard to ask for any restrictions of your diet and how they can help you order a healthy meal.Parking: The parking lot is really large and only on the weekends is there any shortage of parking spots.“

“Absolutely wonderful place to go. The restaurant gives me a welcoming comfort feeling. The food was amazing! I had the pancake trio flight which came with a raspberry cheesecake pancake, a cinnamon roll pancake, and an Oreo s'mores pancake. They were delicious. I also had a side of turkey bacon and it was perfectly crispy. My husband had a cheeseburger and he said it tastes like how he thinks a cheeseburger in a commercial would taste. The fries were so good too! Friendly staff, food was out quick and hot. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back! Thank you!“

“Overall great experience. This was my second time getting food there, first time eating in. I was craving catfish and grits and the internet photos said they had it. I called to confirm and we were on our way. It was so yummy and had a creole sauce with sautéed onions on top of the cheesy grits. My catfish was super crispy (almost overcooked but I asked for extra crispy) and not salty at all which really complimented the savory grits. It really hit the spot. My partner had a burger and I had a bite at his urging and I will be back to get one of my own when I’m craving a burger. It was toasty and flavorful. The food is really rich though so it’s definitely something I will only indulge in sparingly. Everything was cooked to order and fresh which is a huge plus for me and worth the wait. Only 3 stars for atmosphere because the was radio playing, tvs were on…I was a little over stimulated! lol. Great family owned business!“

Good Day Breakfast •
3730 Foundry Way, St. Louis

“Not sure why it took me so long to try Good Day, but I'm so glad that I finally did! This place is probably my new favorite dining option at the City Foundry. I placed my order online, and less than 15 minutes later, I received a text that it was ready! I ordered a Build Your Own Ancient Grains Bowl with chicken, broccoli, sweet potato, mozzarella, and lemon vinaigrette. Although it's a little pricey at $15, the portion size is pretty big and very filling. I'd say it's probably the biggest bang for your buck out of all the other City Foundry dining options. I've tried other places at the Foundry that are about the same price but you get significantly less food than at Good Day. Definitely check this place out!“

“The food was great, better than a lot of other breakfast spots I've visited. The Crepes were very a great treat. My wife had the andoullie scrambler, and she loved it except for the toast. They lay the toast below all the food, and it gets very soggy instead of being crisp like toast should be. I had the brunch burger, it had great flavor. It is a double patty and was too big for me to eat, so I took one patty off and had it with my potatoes. My wife had the apple cinnamon crepe and I had the blueberry lemon crepe. Both crepes were great sweet crepes. My mother had the summer sausage crepe and said it was a fantastic savory that she wouldn't normally get, but loved. Drinks were fantastic wife had a mimosa and i had turkish coffee.Ambience was great and the overal experience was great.Kid-friendliness: We brought our 6 month old in her stroller and slept next to the table the whole time. There were other families there with their kids as well.“
