“This may be the most underrated joint around. The bread on their sandwiches is world-class. They have an impressive menu offering of deli style sub sandwiches that rival the best in the business. They also make an outstanding hamburger. Do not expect a round bun because they put it on their amazing French style bread. They are traditionally made on a bit of onions and served up juicy at hot to order. It reminds me of an Oklahoma burger or a smash burger, but this thing seems to have some additional spices that make it pop. Many people do not realize that big Al's owns the right to sell the dole pineapple whip. That's the stuff at Disney. This is the only place around here that you can get it, and it's worth the drive. Big Al, being the entrepreneur that he is, has also added the Crabshack business to the Nixa location. I must admit, it's not a fancy joint, but it may be the best crab and shrimp meal. I have ever eaten at any price. I also feel good about supporting big Al because he has a big supporter of the community, the schools, and our first responders. there is even a community donation box and a code program on his property. I just think it's extra special supporting local businesses, and this one gets it right.“
“Stopped in to try a malt. YUM!!!!Went with the large cuz I'm on a diet. Ha!Staff was fast, efficient and attentive to customer needs. Great shake! Young lady took very made sure it was mixed well. Nice to see the extra effort.Thank you.“
“Ordered a breakfast sandwich, and twice, asked for the combo meal. When I wasn't asked what beverage I would like with the combo, I was confused. When my sandwich came, all by itself, I was mildly upset.I let the young lady who served me, that I twice used the word "combo" when ordering, and was wondering what went wrong, she offered the rest of the meal if I still wanted it.I passed, and paid the bill. The sandwich was so good, that I ordered a second one for my daughter-in-law.A + on the foodB + on the time being servedC - on the serviceOverall, I will definitely be back“
“What a wonderful place for custard and memories. Andy and his crew know how to make delicious treats and yummy rootbeer. What used to be just a Springfield gem is now moving across the nation. It is always a treat we love to try the "local" Andy's when we travel.“
“One of the best, filling burgers i’ve ever had. The food only took about 10-15 minutes to get to me (i ordered 3 burgers). Everyone is pissy about the food taking to long, but no one realizes that it’s not a Wendy’s, and they make quality food when you order it. Also the service is not bad like everyone says, the woman who made my food was very kind, and made it very well. I will definitely be coming back, and i live 45 minutes away.“
“Love my Freddy's! No matter what time of day I show up. Right before closing or right at opening never treated wrong. This morning Maddy did an excellent job on my order and figuring out the computer when it decided to go bonkers on her. Keep up the excellent work y'all!“
“There's nothing quite like indulging in an icy treat from a Springfield classic, Pineapple Whip. The staff here are full of smiles. There are three tables available for those who eat on-site. Since it's situated near various restaurants, Pineapple Whip can serve as your dessert after a meal out. Additionally, its proximity to the Alamo Drafthouse and Gillenwater Tennis Courts makes it convenient for post-movie or post-match refreshment.“
“I'm a big fan of Andy's and who doesn't like good ice cream and frozen custard? My experience at Andy's has always been a great one even if they are super busy the order taker comes right out to your car takes your order and when you pull up to the window your order is ready shortly after paying for your order. Andy's is definitely a win win!“
“Strawana with pecans and marshmallow cream. Those magical words will change your life. Well maybe not your life, but you will not regret your choice. The sweet and salty mix is everything. I’m getting all teary just thinking about it. ?But seriously, Andy’s…especially the new MSU location and Campbell locations are fantastic.“
“I drive by this little place all the time and always wanted to stop by. I finally tried it for the first time and it's a place I'll definitely visit again!I did stop by for a potato, but they don't serve their spuds on Saturdays. That was no biggie and a sweet girl gave me a menu to help me chose a different option! I got the Rooster and it's a really good! I did add salt and pepper when I got home, but that's just my personal preference. Also the price is a great for how much you get. I'll have to stop by again and try some of the other menu items!“
