“I love Subways fresh made sandwiches. They always have great coupons or special offers if you download their app. I recently found out you can order a 3" sandwich if you aren't all that hungry. They have large selection of meats, vegetables and condiments to choose from. The bread is always made fresh and just walking into the store smelling the fresh baked bread makes me hungry. Dining room is always clean.“

“This is Jane's down my favorite lunch spot in Springfield...or maybe anywhere. I have tro d nearly every item on the lunch and breakfast menus and have never been disappointed. The salads are big, fresh, and come with homemade bread. Their house drip coffee is great and is consistently tasty. The bakery case is always stocked with creative seasonal sweets and solid favorites like blueberry scones and huge cinnamon rolls. Beyond the food (which is seriously amazing) the service is fast, the staff are friendly, and the bathrooms are clean. The patio is great in the spring and fall. “I drive by this little place all the time and always wanted to stop by. I finally tried it for the first time and it's a place I'll definitely visit again!I did stop by for a potato, but they don't serve their spuds on Saturdays. That was no biggie and a sweet girl gave me a menu to help me chose a different option! I got the Rooster and it's a really good! I did add salt and pepper when I got home, but that's just my personal preference. Also the price is a great for how much you get. I'll have to stop by again and try some of the other menu items!“
“i've loved chicken salad for years but I haven't had it lately. I decided to get it today though because I've been exercising lately. It was so wonderful I got the lemon basil scoop on top of salad. The cucumbers I think are the English kind which are so good! I didn't need dressing. It came with a Claussen pickle spear and a mini buttercream frosted cookie! I love everything! I'm already planning my future next order! lol“
“Food was good, employee that brought us our food was nice. However Kate took our order and was not nice. I had a birthday reward and didn’t know I had to tell her I had a reward before I ordered. She gave me a lot of attitude about it because I had ordered chips and a drink with my sandwich. My girlfriend then asked for a bag for leftovers and Kate was very sassy when talking about what bag, there was only 1 bag option that we saw.“

“Good News, Bad News.Saturday’s special today is Italian Beef. BUT, they ran out before 8 pm, when I got here from KC headed to Branson.I supported this local restaurant all thru Covid before my job took me to KC. My daughter looked forward to SDC. All day long I only wanted an Italian Beef. At 14 years old in the early 80’s, my first job was making Italian Beef in Chicago. This place does a great job of representing ChicagoLand.I can’t believe it the owner is stingy such that they ran out. It comes in frozen from Chicago, so I can’t see why there isn’t another tub unthawed.Guess I’ll have to be ok getting Italian Beef at Costco frozen from now on.“

“I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich... I order that one mostly, but sometimes I'll get the j*** turkey. I always get it to go, but I live far, so I don't get to eat it hot unless nuked. But I ordered it today on my lunch break. I was able to have it hot, and my goodness! Why have I been waiting to eat it?! Lol ? “
“They made it to order, I totally love my experience and my sandwich. The sub bread was so fresh, meat cut right off the loaf, prosciutto was delicious as well as the capicola, married with the ham, salami and pepperoni, the sweet spicy pepper? relish with a Chipotle mayo. .mmm mmm mmm, I order a half but it lasted me 2 meals .“
“Goodcents, and this location in particular, is my go to sub shop. Its my favorite Italian since starting college in the 90s. Today I wanted to get an early start on Super Bowl Sunday and every page I could find said they were open at 10. Google, Facebook, Yelp and even their individual corporate page agreed that it was 10 instead of 11, but evidently no one told the manager or employees. I rolled up at 10:25 to find a couple employees working but doors locked. 3 other cars arrived and left because they weren't open. When the doors opened at 11, meat and toppings were still being prepped. I nearly walked out, but you know, hunger. My bread was stale, a first for this location. Normally a 9/10, but today 7/10, will still eat again.“
“Six months ago I wouldn't have given Goodcents a good review. They were really struggling post Covid. We have visited Goodcents twice in the last month and have not been disappointed. My kids really like the kids alfredo. On our last visit, they didn't have any alfredo made but the person working took the time to make the pasta. My kids were happy and so was I. I love the Goodcents Original on wheat with tomatoes, banana peppers, mayo and a little bit of oil and vinegar. Very filling and the food tastes fresh.“
“Have you not been to McAlister's? I'm so sorry! You need to fix that. I really can't stand subway, Goodcents is good but that's a different type of place. McAlisters sits on the fine-dining edge of delis. They offer high quality meats, cheeses , bread, and they offered in an upscale, casual environment compared to places like subway. The closest comparison to it would be something like San Francisco oven or Panera but I really like McAlister's better than both. Don't miss out on their tea, their sweet tea and unsweet tea is excellent! Sometimes I go just for a cup of tea and that is it. Also I always find that the staff at the points-of-sale are always very kind and accommodating, at every location, I don't know if they just have good luck with hiring people or if there's some kind of hiring standard that they hold to but the people are always great! That keeps me coming back too! It's one of those things that you'll find yourself craving at random times. I don't think there's one bad thing on the menu so pick freely and enjoy!“

The employees were friendly and followed through with my special request to hollow out the bread and load it generously with vegetables. The interior boasts a modern design and is well-maintained. However, accessing the location from National Street can be slightly inconvenient due to a steep incline.“
