“Many, many years ago" late 70s" when I first had Mugs Up. Lived in kC, Independence, Lees summit. Mugs up was a couple times a week thing. Moved away in 91, back to Ga. Everytime I go to KC, to see family and friends I also have to visit mugs Up, my favorite as well as the Pizza Fun House.“

“We were visiting a friend for the weekend and were very excited to see a Culvers. We decided to stop in and the restaurant was very busy, however the staff were working efficiently and doing a great job of keeping up with the work and being super friendly as well. There were people keeping the drink area clean and checking that all the tables were cleared properly as people left. Our food came out quickly and it was very delicious. They had accidentally left out an order of fries, and when we said something the gentleman went straight back to get that for us and brought it to our table. As always, the food was so good and the atmosphere pleasant.“

“Great food. They also sometimes give extra food when ordering gluten free. Sometimes we end up with more than 3 fingers when ordering a "naked" 3 finger combo. Bread really good, sauce really good, chicken really good, sweet tea really good (I like "southern sweet" sweet tea), fries are decent, but could use more seasoning.“

“It was a ROUGH night for the staff. We were on our way home to Northern Iowa (from Southern Texas) from our spring break trip (had been on the road for 12 hours, still had 5 to go)....there were three (ONLY THREE) people working (one in the kitchen, one at the drive-thru, and one at the main counter). The staff was overwhelmed, and patrons were getting crabby. We tried hard to keep their spirits up by smiling and making jokes. I knew my fries had been sitting in my to-go bag for a while; asked, super nicely, if they would mind nuking them (I mean, no one likes cold fries; am I right?!)....they tossed them in the fryer quickly to get them hot again (was super thankful for that). As we were handed our last bag, the drive-thru worker (who was working her butt off) handed me a bag of mini-ice cream sandwiches for our kindness and patience. I just hope the staff from that night (8pm; 3/15/24) didn't go home feeling super defeated. We specifically go out of our way; break speed-limit laws, just to make it to a Lion's Choice before close; it's a favorite for us (ate LC twice a week when I lived in St. Louis in the 90s). Genuinely hope the owners/management does a better job of having the proper amount of staff in the future, and rewards that night crew....they were doing the best they could, with minimal support. ❤️“

“The pizza is so thin and so crispy and so delicious! Totally customizable toppings. VERY kid-friendly in topping choices, pizza size, patience and kindness of staff, and general atmosphere. Salads are AWESOME! Cheesy garlic bread is really good, too.Parking: If their lot is full, there's tons of parking all around.Kid-friendliness: VERY kid-friendly. “This Independence store was one of the last backyard burgers I knew of. It had great food, personally, I liked their burgers more than any other fast-food restaurant; they remind me of a Red Robin burger, only fast food. The owner retired and it is for sale. Unknown if they will open back up.Kid-friendliness: Fast food, decent interior.“

“It was great experience came as a group we all tried it for the first time I got the triple burger it was good but maybe a little overhyped still going to try more of the menu and add more onto this employees really nice and respectful my cup had a hole at the bottom and didn't notice it thought it was part of the condensation but it turned out it wasn't and employee was the one who noticed and Gave me a new cup and apologized for the inconvenience, highly recommended for atmosphere and chilling having a great time with people who care about their service and quality of experience. Great job will be back soon to try new things!Parking: They have their own parking lot“

“Impressed by my visit to another location on another side of town, I stopped by for a quick lunch. The manager of the store greeted me very quickly. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted, and she was quick to offer me suggestions. I ordered a 2-piece fish dinner. It comes with 2 sides; the drink costs extra. The total for the dinner and a small soft drink came to just over $12. I was given a large drink cup. The food was delivered quickly: it was hot and fresh. The dining room shows its age, but it is kept pretty clean. Restrooms were acceptable. Compared with similar fast food seafood, I think you should expect a satisfactory experience here.“

“Who can smell and Auntie Anne's pretzel and not succumb to the temptation? I swear anytime my family smells a pretzel from Auntie Anne's it is like they are going to die if they do not get a pretzel. The warm and buttery pretzel served with hot cheese sauce is one of my family's favorite treats. They also love their variety of drinks to help wash down the salty and savory delight of an Auntie Anne's pretzel.you don't typically find these not in a mall so this new location is amazing for the area.“

“The place was fast, like really fast. The portion sizes are big enough for two to three people. The folks running the place are super nice as well. Food was good but not very unique, like good but nothing that I would say stood out. None the less, if you are looking for good food that will feed you for two days look no further.“

“I think we visit here a minimum of once a day. They do have quite a few times that their app goes down. But that's not their fault at the store. The only issue I ever have is when I order extra real fruit, I RARELY get it, and sometimes I don't get any. The service is always fast, friendly & and accurate. EXCEPT the extra fruit in the drink. “Hello.. I don't usually ever make a review but every time I've came to this location they have been awesome and the food is always to my liking. Like today I showed up at 10:30 am right as they open because I needed to eat before going in to Walmart. They were busy with online or catering and still they gave me great service and I got my food in a reasonable amount of time. Keep up the good work. I only come by ever 2 or 3 months but when I do it's to treat myself so thank yall.“

“Qdoba is one of my favorite fast-casual pig-out places. A step above Chipotle in my opinion, better menu, free queso and guac, and a better dining area. My go-to is the nacho bowl with queso switching between shrimp or steak or both. Then covered in mountain of toppings and sauces and two scoops of guacamole. Truly enough for 2 meals, but since nachos don't reheat well, I become glutenous and devour the entire thing then go take a long siesta.“
