“I was very pleased with my first visit today. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and a bubbly attitude. The vibe is cute and gives "little cottage". I had the Midwest and it was so yummy and filling. I also tried the Lemon Muffin and it was also tasty. I will be back!“

“100/10 recommend, seriously. Karen usually has on a hand a nice variety of goodies. Her banana pudding is sensational and the cupcakes..?. She also has chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos and usually a Bundt cake or three. We also had Karen make us a cake and cupcakes for my sons baby shower, and they all came out phenomenal...I didn't even get a cupcake that day they went so fast! I would definitely recommend that you stop by and check out and support this bakery, the treats are amazing ...but also Karen is such a sweet lady!“

“Discovered the new Brookside store had just opened, and decided to go in on a Saturday and indulge. Purchased a box of Mini Bundt's/12 count and found that the customer service was absolutely outstanding and very appreciative. Was also advised that my wife and I could freeze the box of 12 Mini Bundt's, so that we could pull out only what we want, (on a given night) to enjoy and saver!“

“Sooooo good! We were down in the area around Steamboat Arabia and had walked down the road to see some other shops. Of course, I use yelp at all times, so I looked up "cookies" because we were craving something sweet. How perfect that we were just around the corner from this cute little place! We walked in and the nice lady attending the front counter asked if we were there to pick up an order. We told her no, just wanted to take care of our sweet tooth. She showed us the options left in the cases. She said we don't do a ton of walk-in business, but always have a few things. She told us their specialty was their almond iced cookies. So, we got several of them and a cupcake. We were soooo happy we listened to her. Yes, the cupcake was good, but HOLY SMOKES, the cookies were heavenly! I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop in and get a few or even better, order a couple dozen for your next event!! Cute little store, tasty sweets, and friendly staff!“
“Kind of disappointing and rude, I skipped buying from here and went to Target instead.**UPDATE**I wanted to make an update to my previous review - I have been back to this location about 5 times and they have really been much more welcoming! The confetti cakes are a staple now at every birthday party my family has. The location is convenient and it is super easy to make an online order. “Advertised as homemade ice cream I love this place, I’ve been going here for years on occasion and I can’t seem to taste anything other than my first choice I ever tasted on my first visit. I would describe as pricey for what it is but I also would say it’s definitely worth it. The options of combinations of toppings and flavors of creams is limitless. If you can try it I would say you should. Great place with great options to indulge on occasion. They also will accommodate special requests and let you try the creams before you commit to a certain flavor. Just ask to “To Taste” a flavor“
“There was a whole slew of us from Spring Valley Baptist Church that gathered here for lunch on a Thursday and the food was very good. It's a limited lunch menu with just 3 sandwich choices, but let me just say that these are not regular deli sandwiches. The chicken salad is homemade, and the ham and honey roasted turkey sandwiches are carved meats, not sliced deli. There are also a few varieties of quiches, and either bowls or cups of soup. One of the ladies next to me got a cup of ham and bean soup. It looked and smelled so good that I was wishing I had ordered it. This is a bakery, so of course the highlight is the baked goods, which include cookies, cupcakes, pound cake, pies, cinnamon rolls (Friday & Saturday)...and so much more! Wanda (the owner) brought out the triple layer coconut cake (pictured) and we lost our minds.“
