“What an absolutely divine bar. My husband, brother-in-law, and myself popped in here for a couple of late night cocktails while walking around St. Charles. Kubrick’s was extremely welcoming, wonderfully decorated, and they even had fun drinks of the month. I have a deep appreciation for the aesthetic of this spot, and the bartender was extremely friendly. Please do keep in mind that if you do not like cigarette smoke, this place may not be for you, as smoking is allowed inside. We will definitely be back when we are in Missouri again next year, visiting my in-laws for the holiday!“
“Do you love buffalo chicken pizza? STOP! This place has the best..hands down...first place...buffalo chicken pizza! I have ventured out to try others and they just don't compare. I am not even a pizza fan and I order it almost every time. Their entire menu is amazing. They have a wonderful steak sandwich. Every soup has been delicious. Now, the atmosphere isn't the most inviting, but do remember you are in a bowling alley. I will say the bar stools make up for it. I could sit in one all day. The most comfortable bar stools in St. Charles County. Tubby's is one of my go-to places.“
“Not a bad little place. Food was delicious and quick, only reason I gave it 4 was the service and seating. Was asked to speak with someone, they passed me into a other and then we had three different servers between drinks, food order and water top offs. Friendly non the less, but not as simple as it could be.“
“It was okay for a small bar guests were friendly and outgoing and the staff was nice. They had karaoke but the monitor to read the lyrics was the opposite direction of the crowd so someone didn't know the lyrics they're back would be to the “
“Looking for a local bar to let your hair down , relax hear a local band play and have good drinks at a great price? This is the place. Pinball anyone? You got it. I will beat you by the way! No, really this is a surprisingly tucked away place to try out in St Charles. The locals love it. A best kept secret until now. ;)))) Your St Charles Yelper“
“Absolute finest dining in all of the Midwest. The escargot is to die for. On Sundays they have a falafel bar that is out of this world. Completely unexpected, but they do have over 100 flavors of ice cream. I would highly recommend this establishment. But make sure you bring cash because they are cash only!“
“Greiners is a great casual local pub. The owner is very nice and the bartenders are very efficient. The bartender named Jackie is the best! She's friendly, quick to get your order to you and great at remembering what you drink. Their prices are very reasonable and the place has a very laid back atmosphere. I don't go out to bars often but when I do Greiners is one of my favorites.“
“It has a nice local sports bar feel and I'm sure the beer is plenty cold. The wine usually ranges from bad to "that's three days old and needs to be thrown out." They don't make a very good cocktail. Their regular menu fare is good and reasonably priced, so if you like beer, burgers, and similar fare, you can't do much better in the immediate area.“
“The food was amazing. The fries are delicious and addicting. Chelsey is an amazing person. We just met her, but it felt like she was an old friend. It is a pub environment, so it can get a little noisy, but otherwise, I can't recommend this place enough.“
“I was on vacation from Pittsburgh and this was the first bar I went to on my first night. This place is definition of a midwest dive bar and I wouldn't want it any other way. Most dive bars are filled with regulars. So when I came in with a pirates hoodie I got some looks. But was treated great. The bartenders and customers are very nice people to talk to. The drinks were good and they have free popcorn. I cant wait to use my drink chip next time I go back“
“Mr Thirstys is a happy hour and book club go to for me and my coworkers after work. We love sharing different appetizers, burgers are delish, and their homemade variety of pickle shots are huge and top tier. There’s nothing like sipping on an ice cold pepperoncini shot with some gold old bar appetizers. We typically go on Wednesdays and always get wonderful service from the bartender Ashley, she’s great and always friendly!Parking: There is free street parking out front and a parking lot accessible from the street in the back. There is a walkable entrance from the parking lot to the front or back of the restaurant.“
“Had lunch today. Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and green beans as my sides for a lunch special. $ 9.95 The chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection and green Breana were so good best even. The service was fast and friendly. Great neighborhood bar.“
