“The place is a 1st class Bar it is well maintained & clean! I love the opportunity to meet up with old friends and neighbors. Thanks to the owners daily happy hour special's &. During the local games . There is smoking for the people who smoke. They have a smoke filter system to help with those who don't. They have a small menu for your appetite get your hunger cravings under control. I will recommend this Bar too many!“
“First time coming here and the atmosphere and food was great. Good music and vibes. Bartender is incredibly friendly, cooks were on point, and everyone was having a great time. Honestly don’t know what else you could ask for. You’re doing yourself a disjustice by not coming here. Thanks for the great time!“
“100/10. Walked over last night to try it out. Ordered 6 things from the menu to try a little of everything and I still can’t decide which one is my favorite- I do know nothing was bad though! Great menu, great pricing, great cocktails. What a fantastic addition to Soulard- exactly what was needed!!!! Can’t wait to go back!“
“This is one of our go to places and has been since they opened. Their cocktails are TOP NOTCH and their service is unlike any other. Their menu is always updated with fresh new cocktails and they often bring back some of the previous flavors which we always anxious await. Ordering is easy and drinks are brought directly to your table. Both of their locations are always clean and welcoming and we truly love spending time here with our friends. We will be forever customers!“
“I really loved my time here. The staff was very friendly and approachable. They were more than happy to help with games or menus questions. The overall atmosphere was very laid back. My guest and I were there from about 4 pm to 10 pm, and no one pressured us to order anything. They kept our water craft filled and occasionally popped in for friendly conversation. Their color coded flag system at the table is an Ingenous idea to alert staff to your needs. I really appreciate not having to scan the room like an anxious child looking for my server and begging for eye contact so I can flag them down. If you are someone with severe social anxiety like my guest, this Is a pretty solid place.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian sloppy Joe sliders were very good.“
“Pagan Wine Bar in Central West End is a bookstore. No wait, it's a wine bar. Tucked away but right there in front of you, it's a quirky, offbeat spot. The cocktails here are unique concoctions. The bar itself can accommodate probably 25 people. It's very small and intimate. The group of five of us had such a great time. My drink is fantastic.“
“YUUUMMY! If you want a delicious sandwich, this is your place. Flavor’s were fly’n for sure! Definitely making this a regular stop when we’re in STL. With so many sandwiches to choose from I can’t wait to try them all. Atmosphere and staff were great.“
“It’s been a while since I’ve eaten at Michael’s and honestly, I forgot what I was missing. Tonight’s dinner was incredible. We started off with toasted ravioli. They were delicious and the meat sauce was really flavorful. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. I’m also a huge fan of the beer battered fries. The rest of our table ordered the gyro sandwich and gyro salad. Both were incredible-some of the best gyro meat I’ve ever had. The service was fast and friendly and I thought the prices were reasonable for the what had. I will definitely be back.“
“Wow! This place was soo cool. I found it via Google search for a good Cuban sandwich. I realized that I came here as a child when it was just a bar. The atmosphere is soo cool inside. The food is the best part though. The Cuban honestly did not impress me visually, but when I took a bite... oh my! The pork butt was soo good. My mom had the famous Picadilly fish. She wanted to try the Mayfair salad, but didn't want the whole salad so they made her a side salad with Mayfair dressing. They make this dressing in house and its amazing. I had a cup of Gumbo with my sandwich and it was soo good. I forgot to get a picture of it, but I have to believe it was homemade. I will definitely come back. You should come try it too.“
“Can be a little loud when they are busy. Food is good and you get lots, won't leave hungry.Parking: Depending on how busy they are, sometimes parking is not great. Restaurant shares parking with a convenience type store/sandwich shop, and I believe a laundromat around the corner.“
“First time trying and all I have to say is AWESOME AWESOME FOOD I had the Build your Brat with sourkraut and the bacon bacon Jamaica fries my wife had the Hawaii 5 0 everything was ? ????? and to Steve L.O.T.C LOVES THE PLACE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK “
“Winnie's Wine Bar made for a perfect location for a stop on my bachelorette weekend. Our servers were amazing and were so friendly and fun. Everyone loved the vibe and kept talking about how comfortable the seating arrangements were. We didn't want to leave!! Such a cute spot and highly recommend!!!!“
“Great place for a night out with the friends or significant other. Loved the games and the pizza is over the top. Only problem is why don’t they close that damn door when it’s cold outside makes you uncomfortable when you’re walking around feels like I’m still outside when I’m not.“
“I would put myself in debt to eat this food, It's so incredible the head chef is brilliant, and the staff from the front of the house to the back make the entire experience a joy. the wild boar and polenta is writing home about worthy, and the tirimisu makes me emotional... the pizza is literally the only pizza in st louis worth eating and I'm from Chicago so I feel like my opinion is extra valid lol. there are a ton of "fancy restaurants" in St. Louis but table cloths and wine selection don't mean crap when the menu of a reasonably priced pizza joint makes your food look like McDonald's by comparison.“
“After a fantastic hike with the Black People Who Hike (BPWH) group, Anita's Cafe was the perfect refuel spot! Their brunch collab with Honeybees Biscuits was a winner. The biscuits and gravy were comforting and delicious. The drinks were just what we needed to rehydrate. I'm excited to go back and try their Mediterranean menu!“
“The sandwich was really good and there was a lot of it. It cost a bit more than normal but there was a lot of it. The waitress was very nice and we got our food fast, even though the place was very busy. In short it was well worth the visit.“
“Was in St Louis for 4 days visiting a friend. We were trying to find a nice locals type place with a good selection of cocktails and good atmosphere. Thanks to Google we stumbled upon this place. It was nice just to sit the in the corner, have a drink, listen to quality music and play chess.“
“The breweries cellar serving up some of the best beers made in the world. With an ever changing draft list and an extensive bottle list from the cellar on top of the private and personal experience the small but unique space creates, you are bound to have a great experience. The staff is great and incredibly knowledgeable. In addition my favorite experiences are the multiple special events they have a year serving up their more limited beers.“
“The staff is awesome, great live music every night! Kitchen open until 10 on weekdays, and midnight on weekends. Kit, Jim, Evan, and can’t forget Bob will make sure you are well taken care of. Patrick and Mile make sure the food comes out delicious. The owner Patrick, and Kate make sure it all comes out with greatness. Good place to come with friends, or make some while there.“
“Great Restaurant, the cashier who’s name is TK seated me and my friends and had us try some awesome food ever since then i come in once a week and I’ve been trying something new from their menu once a week will definitely be a regular customer at STL City “
“Its the best damn bar we have.It really is.It just is amazing. Not for uppity folks at all.Very goth industrial techno and sometimes very queer.MY FAVORITE!♡ good prices good people.safe.fun.♡If anything ever happened to this place I would flip out like I would cry as if someone died.Lets all support the crack fox and not let that happen! Hehe!♡“
“The Pageant in Delmar is a music venue so good, it's like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory for music lovers. You step inside, and suddenly you're in a world where every note is golden, every joke hits like a punchline ninja, and every seat feels like it was custom made for your booty. It's the kind of place where you can't help but tap your feet, nod your head, and occasionally wonder if you accidentally stumbled into Narnia instead of a concert hall. And the comedy nights? It's like they've distilled pure hilarity and bottled it up for your enjoyment. Plus, the staff? They're like the Avengers of hospitality, ready to save the day with a smile and maybe a quick dab of emergency glitter if needed. In short, if happiness had a headquarters, it'd be The Pageant.“
“The food has NO BUSINESS being THAT GOOD!!! The brussel sprouts are incredible.Very cool place with three different rooms. Live music was great. The outside patio was fantastic. Very queer friendly. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Fried tofu available. Most/all sides were vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Menu marked as veg or GF. Staff is knowledgeable about other questions.“
“Food- Outstanding! Shrimp and Grits must haves, waffle with berries delicious, eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy were all just phenomenal Service- fantastic! Quick, kind, attentive. Tipped him $20 on a $86 dollar tab because we were that happy. Ambiance- chill, trendy, kid friendly but more for adults I felt, and also classy. We will be back hopefully very soon!! Wow what a great restaurant with simply outstanding food!“
“What we loved the most about this place was the service! The food was very good, and generous portions and the beer selection was excellent, but the way they greeted us, and sought us out because they happened to be playing bingo and wanted to make sure we felt included.. they brought our food and checked on like we were family of the owners..just wow! We are not from St. Louis and stopped in, we are so glad we did and added a pin to google for one of our favorite places if we are ever back in town!“
“I ordered tonight for carry out and there was a small hiccup (no biggie) with our order they called right away to fix it. Picked up our meatball sub, a Naples pizza, a create your own, and garlic bread. This food was delicious, I’ve never had such a amazing white pizza (no red sauce) in my life. The meatballs were so tender and my picky kid ate all but one! The garlic cheese bread didn’t last long here it’s as good as home made (maybe better). We will definitely return and recommend. I hope next time we can dine it, from what I saw they have a pretty large dining room that can accommodate a nice crowd. The employees were incredibly friendly and warm. Loved the entire experience!“
“I’m giving everything five stars because the food and beer were good and the staff excellent, save one a-hole manager. Basically we were there on a busy running club night, and as a family of 4 having just arrived to St. Louis looking for dinner, we popped into Heavy Riff to give it a try. We waited in line with everyone else at the “front counter” and a lovely female bartender waited on us and let us know we could grab a table and then she’d help us on the side of the bar where it’d be less hectic for us to order (since we had kids in tow). This was very thoughtful and accommodating of her in the masses of young runners. We met her there and she offered great advice on what to order for kids (spice levels) and as a vegetarian. We were about halfway through ordering when Rick (I got his name later since he ruined the vibe of our experience) butted in and told her she was supposed to be taking orders at the front counter not side bar (about 4 feet away) and said she had to get back there. By his command she had to leave us hanging to wait for the “proper” bartender to take our order which was a few minutes later. He didn’t offer to help. Meanwhile as the staff was slammed with orders this Rick jerk just stood in the back and reined over the staff. He didn’t lift a finger. Even later when I went to settle the tab at the bar he stood at his throne position in the back scrolling, messaging on his phone. (Super unprofessional) I was standing right next to him and he didn’t ask if he could help me. I sure hope Rick isn’t the owner because if he is I would hope employees would quit. Rather, to the owner, it is time to find yourself a new manager as Rick is useless and frankly ruined the good energy we had going. I felt for the staff that had to deal with his power trip. Though we are staying fairly close by, we won’t be back.“
“Great food, great portions, great atmosphere!!!! It’s so romantic!!!! I feel like I’m in Italy!!! ??Vegetarian options: There are many options!Parking: There is parking everywhere and even in the garage!Kid-friendliness: My kids love Italian!!! This place is awesome!!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Great place for wheel chairs as well.“
“We stopped here after Paint Louis as it was recommended for its Gluten-free menu and what a great find! The cider flight was perfect as was our appetizer, main meal and dessert (hey, ya gotta have dessert when the rest of the meal was so awesome!). We wound up taking 2 growlers of cider with us and will be back again!“
“Our first time here and it was great! Our server Genesis was sweet, bubbly, and attentive. The food was fantastic! Had burrata salad (off menu special), the Tiger rolls, and brisket dipper. Other than the au jus being a little too salty (which is prob normal, I don’t like things that are too salty) would eat it all again it was so good! And the servings are huge, we have enough leftovers for two more meals. The cocktails were also terrific- it’s hard to find a Vieux Carré outside the French Quarter but they make a good one! Sazarac was also delicious. Will be recommending this place to others and will definitely be back!“
“My first time at Eat Crow and it’s an easy 10/10! When I say the honey hot chicken sandwich and the original Mac & cheese was delicious, it was delicious!! The Mac & cheese was so cheesy and creamy and just a true delight! Give them a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed!“
“Tried this restaurant yesterday. Had a reservation for Valentine’s Day. The food was really good and the waiter was nice. The restaurant wasn’t really crowded when we got there and we still had to wait. The table we got was a high top by the bar, would have preferred a booth or other table in the dining area but all in all it was a good experience. I’d go back for another steak, it was delicious.Dietary restrictions: Peanut free facilityParking: Lots of spots“
“If you like to dance, this is the place to be. Security on point. I felt safe the entire time inside and outside. The DJ kept the dance floor in a nice rotation. Staff was friendly and patient with newcomers. I'd definitely recommend and come again.“
“I really enjoy this bar. the beer is always changing on draft, and the canned and bottle selection is huge. the food place next door delivers over to itap and its really good either pizza or tacos. there are a bunch of tvs to watch as well the patio is pretty nice. BY FAR my favorite thing about this place is that I can bring my dog inside to hang with me. the bartenders are really friendly and actually seem to enjoy when people bring in their dogs.“
“While in town I had to visit. We only had time for a quick take out of fried green tomatoes and fries. The food was great! Service was awesome. The atmosphere was amazing! While we were there the gentleman that was singing on stage played a Beatles song and the place wasn't busy as it was late but wow it was alive! That song in that bar - I wished I had more time to stay!“
“Great bar in Soulard. My favorite. Food is solid. Drinks are drinks, games and a restaurant in the back. But up front is where the magic is. They'll have live bands often. Usually blues bands, brass instruments in a band make the band. They always have great talent playing. Must visit spot in STL/“
“Very nondescript bar on McKelvey road across the street from Maryland Heights Community Center. This was formerly The Drinking Horn and they have preformed wonders inside/ It's clean , roomy with new tables plenty of TVs for sports viewing and the best bartenders around especially Ronnie! They have Trivia at 7:30 on Thursday evenings and Karaoke on Friday They pour a respectable drink , offer pizza for purchase or you can bring in outside food. If you're in the area give them a try you might just like it.“
“Came on with no reservation and was sat right away. Amelia gave us wonderful and quick service but I feel she went above and beyond making multiple suggestions that made our experience even better. The staff was friendly and helpful, overall we enjoyed for a quick last minute weekday dinner!“
“We stayed at the Cheshire hotel and were fortunate to have Basso on the premises! We met a friend here the first night of our stay. The restaurant is in the basement. The atmosphere was inviting with gas lit wall lights, a center bar with booths and high tops. Autumn was a wonderful server. She was so pleasant and informative. We really enjoyed having her as our server. Happy hour is from 4 to 6. We tried the fried meatballs, which were great. The lemon ravioli and the shrimp pasta dish were both delicious. Prices were reasonable. When you dine, the food taste and quality are top priority, but when the food is phenomenal and the service and atmosphere are just as good, it makes the experience memorable. We ended up returning on our second night! Julie was our server and we really enjoyed her, too. She was helpful and interested in our satisfaction! We tried the Brussel sprouts, an heirloom salad with delicious bread. Our entrees were the butcher steak and the burger. The steak was wood fired and super tender! The burger was delicious. The fries and shishito peppers were very good. We highly recommend this hidden gem and thank Autumn and Julie for making our stay in St. Louis so memorable! Oh, try the Secret Door specialty drink, a next level Old Fashioned“
“This is what the cozy STL “neighborhood bar” should be. Cash only (with ATM) but super quick and friendly service, good tap selection, really good music and atmosphere. If your Spotify daylist is telling you to seek therapy, this place might be your vibe.I haven’t tried the food, but some friends did and all said it was great.“
“Originally from STL but haven't lived there for two decades. When I am there, approximately once a year, Olio is the number one place I need to go. Everything they turn out is amazingly well thought out with creativity and passion second to none. I consistently dream about their egg salad... the decor and vibe is perfect, service is always top notch... there is absolutely nothing I would change about this place.“
“This place is sooo good!!! The flavor is on point every time and never misses. I have been here months apart and my food was well put together every time, which is rare in my opinion for restaurants. A lot of taco places are bland and tasteless and overly Americanized. This place is well versed in toppings, homemade salsa, and flavor. The owner is very sweet and personable. You have to try the fresh homemade juices.“
“We went here before 'Twas the Night. We ate at the bar and Chris took care of us. There were 7 of us and everything was done in a timely manner. Chris did a fantastic job of entertaining us while we waited. The Cesar Salad was the best I've ever had! We will definitely be going back! Great job Chris.“
“Tried one of the RFT's top 5 that has the distinction of having been honored multiple times for serving the best St. Louis-style pizza in the region — without actually using Provel. It had a great crust, the cheese and toppings were good, too. It was ok, but you couldn't taste the sauce. I would definitely try again and ask for more sauce.“
“Great bar to enjoy delicious pizza and drinks and play a wide variety of pinball. The owners are awesome and always there to make sure their machines are in tip-top shape, and it's CLEAN!!! If you enjoy pinball, you should consider joining their league! Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Their sister bar (The Silverballroom) is a must visit too!“
“Come in on a slow night, bar tender was prompt. Not sure why an Irish Bar plays nothing but 90/2000’s country music. Food not impressive, limited menu, which makes you think they would be good at a select few things, good place to grab a drink and watch a game, not much more.“
“I grew up in this neighborhood and I occasionally stop by the Asian Corner takeout at the corner. I always wanted to stop in for many years but I never really made time to do so as works been busy. It's my birthday weekend so I made time!I drove by this place last weekend & noticed the massive crowd & yeah, definitely no parking. This time I wanted to stop in early (2:20pm) to beat the crowd. It's a old school set so if you're looking for the youngsters this is not the place. Well, not at the time I arrived and Ieft about 6pm. The way that I like it to be. Grown Folks!Juke Box is your Dj, customer service is absolutely professional and warm all around. The bar is where I sat. However, seating is available with tables, there's a patio out back. Looks nice but I didn't head out that way. No food(I didn't see any options) but that's OK. Dress code is casual so wear whatever you like. Ample parking if you get here early like 7pm...just a guess.I only came to check it out as I was in the area for food. I'll be back!“
“Great local bar . Local people with deep roots. Great service great prices great people. City of St Louis MO. Thank you Tim great bar hangout with Scott Eric for the hospitality and thank you for recommending Gioia's Deli for lunch tomorrow. You can buy smokes at the bar and cheap drink . Heated outdoor seating for cold nights !Parking: Back in to your spot if on a diagonal and tire on curb !“
“Seems like a nice place if you like cigars. They have good drinks and outside seating which is a plus during good weather. Sundays seem to be popular with the fellas ladies. ? They don't serve food though, but overall a good place to hang.“
