“It was my first time being here and we went there for a Christmas party. They had an absolutely great buffet that they served for us for dinner. It has so many items to choose from that were there like some of my favorite wedding items such as mostaccioli mashed potatoes grilled chicken salmon and other great things to eat. The service is great too because I served myself haha.“

“Ordered take out on a Friday evening in November, picked this restaurant because they were near to our house, good reviews and they had carnitas with corn tortillas. The food was ready when I got there. The atmosphere is very ceremonial within the restaurant. I had fajitas, we shared chips with guacamole, the other parties in our group ordered shredded chicken tacos, carnitas corn tortillas and a shrimp burrito. The chips and guacamole were great including the salsa that came with it. All were gone by the end of the evening. My fajitas were tender and flavorful. The shredded chicken tacos were dry. The carnitas and shrimp burritos were good.“

“The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and I would definitely come back when it's warmer out. The portions are great. Side salad came out ahead of entree which was made perfectly with delicious ranch.The ribs were fall off the bone, bbq sauce was flavorful and sweet, brisket was moist, and pork was also tasty. Cons were the onion rings were not pat down before fried, so there was water dripping out when taking a bite, which also caused them to be soggy instead of crispy. The flavor on the breading was good though. I wouldn't recommend the chicken as mine lacked flavor and was extremely dry.“

“I would put Donatelli's Italian food up against any in the St. Louis area....even restaurants on "The Hill" ! We have been going for years and have always had fantastic food. Also, a great piano bar with live music (check their website). You can have a gourmet lunch with a drink, salad, entree and fresh hot Italian bread for under $15. Compare that to a fastfood burger meal (yech!) for over $10. Professional, friendly wait staff. Great for special occasions or just an informal lunch/dinner.“

The staff was extremely helpful in assisting with getting space secured for our large party (18); the option to order food ahead of time worked really well, as what we ordered was brought to the table at the precise time we requested it.Sometimes, with larger groups, quality service can be a struggle... this was not the case for us. We received exceptional service and attention, with our servers going above and beyond to pay special attention to the birthday girl. Thanks for making this a memorable event.“
“Food was good but since there was an arm wrestling event it was limited. Still tasted great and event was cool for my two teen boys. Totally unexpected. Service was just ok. Would have been 5 stars but server was looking forward to shift change.“
“Food and service were excellent, lobster and striped bass entrees. Crab cakes are the best in the area, all crab. Unless you are large, you may wish to avoid the two person booth. The table is pretty far from you and you'll end up on the edge of the seat trying to reach your plate.“
