“Wow, what a surprise finding this place was, and can I say it is worth giving it a chance? This was what my husband surprised me with for our anniversary lunch. It's in the Price Cutter strip mall on Battlefield and I usually shy away from strip mall restaurants due to way too many people but to my surprise it was slow probably because of the time of day I am so thankful my husband said "Let's try it". There were two other families in the restaurant, we were greeted as soon as we walked in by the sweetest young lady she told us her name was Mary, and she would be our waitress if we had any questions or concerns please ask she would take care of it right away. We placed our order and I got hot tea it arrived in a cast iron teapot and stayed hot the whole meal I was overjoyed by that, and my husband got a Diet Coke, Mary filled it without him ever asking her she was so polite and on top of everything. My husband ordered lunch and got the Tom Kha Khaki Soup Miso Soup, The Thai Connection with Fried Rice, The Volcano Shrimp with Fried Rice, and the Diversity Roll. The most expensive thing was the sushi at 14.95 but it was all so good and WELL WORTH the price. Ask for Mary when you go it will make her day!! “Everything I have tried at the Polymath Educational Cafe TLC has been delicious, full of flavor, made with fresh ingredients and is vegan. Wonderful chili, soups and stews, lasagna, sweet potato and black beans over rice, chickpea salad, made to order fresh tossed salads, goulash, BBQ sandwiches and wraps, deli sandwiches, nachos and more. Fresh baked cookies and cinnamon rolls are perfect with chai tea, latte or fresh ground brewed coffee. There are gluten free options. This is a woman run business and your satisfaction is important to them. They have the best chili, creamy macaroni salad, loaded taco salad, and vanilla caramel iced coffee around. I have become a regular and am always excited to try something new. This was the Loaded Taco Salad. It's available every day and is so good with amazing flavors.“
“This is my daughter's favorite place. The only issue we had was the 35 min wait, and it was frustrating watching people who just walked in getting seated. We only had 5 people, which is not hard to accommodate. However the waiter was fabulous and the food was great.“
“there sunday before christmas & Korey/Corey waited on us with superb precision , professionalism and superb quality service. #1 He coughed into his arm like you are supposed to do to not spread it everywhere. Yes I noticed. #2 we had a party of 6 each wanting to modify something on their order & every request was met with professionalism. Instead of “we can’t do that or this is what’s on it”, He said, sure we can do that. Every request was met with courtesy & respect. Thank you for such excellent customer service. It is so rare these days and you never get thanked but Corey did!! Food was good & served hot. it was superb. Corey should become the trainer for new staff. Store mgr you are very lucky to have him. “This is a perfect little diner! When I came in it was packed and I still got seated within 15 minutes. The staff was locked in and doing amazing, Kenny and Sophie specifically were awesome, very kind and quick to accommodate and serve. Food was cooked to perfection, fruit tasted fresh, and I walked away full.“
