“Ive been to Country Girls every week for the past 4 or 5 weeks. Every time, great sandwiches. I like the Cuban and the Rachel. Coffee is great, but I always just order a Turtle. My wife loves the Miami and a Vanilla Lavender coffee.UPDATE- new name for them and I have been going back every week for over a year now. Same great food and coffee and always a friendly chat with Mike. I still love the Rachel, and my wife still loves the Cuban, but we do try other sandwiches and they are all great.You have to stop in for Cuban Taco Tuesdays! “So I have a wheat allergy, and have been going to neighbors mill for a long time because I can have the spelt oat bread. Here recently the customer service has gone way down hill. Today I called a head and order a grilled cheese on spelt, a tomato soup, and a salad and told them “no bread on the side.” When I got there I checked my food (because I have ordered this before and still end up with bread on the salad and have to give it away) and the salad had the focaccia in with it. So I told the lady checking me out that it needs to be remade, and her response to me was “well you should have told us.” (It was written on the receipt) so while I was waiting for that I asked for a spelt pumpkin muffin, paid for it and went on my way. At a stop light I had realized that she had given me a regular pumpkin muffin. So I turned around and when I got there she said “what’s wrong now?” And I told her that she put a regular muffin in my bag when I had asked for a spelt one because of my allergy. Needless to say I’m done, between what happened today and a buddy of mine used to work there and he told me that they treat their employees like garbage. Now they’re treating their customers the same way.“
“This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Lea, our server was super friendly and responsive to all her customers. I ordered the 3 piece Walleye which was so big that I kiddingly asked if my portions was Walleye or Whale. Lol! I was extremely impressed with how there was an excellent representation of diversity in both the staff and customers. There was a genuine air of both respect and appreciation for each other. This place is located in an old Pizza Hut building and there was ample handicap parking as well. We just really loved the feel, the friendliness and cleanliness of Kearney Street Cafe. Our carry-out portion was a meal in itself and we are really looking forward to dining her again ???.“

“Service has always been good. The they carry is good, but it's not made in a traditional way. The pastries are great, and the ambiance and comfort is ok. This is one of the best shops in Springfield, but that's not saying much as most shops here provide really awful coffee because it's cheaper. Stay away from local coffee as it tastes much like dirt. The euro cafe has a beautiful Italian espresso bean called Lavazza. There's better out there, but not in Springfield.“
“Went here when on vacation with my girlfriend and her niece. The staff was nice and amazing. The food was delicious. Cool part, they had those kid coloring papers. Little Gremlin enjoyed it. Highly recommend going the farmhouse skillet hash. I believe it was called, was absolutely delicious!! The purple haze was so good my girlfriend took one to go.“
“Very cool little breakfast/snack/small liquor store hangout on Cherry and Pickwick near campus. We went in this last Sat morning and only one girl working but she was knocking it out! Good coffee and bagel. We walked over and found a table outside. Lots of folks walking up from surrounding neighborhood with their pets. Friendly place!“
“The coffee is very good. I had a cappuccino and it was very good. They have a variety of coffees and teas. For food, they don't have too much, burritos, cookies,... The place is very modern, like an industrial building with high ceilings. Young and pleasant atmosphere. But the waitresses are not nice at all. And they don't have any kind of sugar!!“

“Everything I have tried at the Polymath Educational Cafe TLC has been delicious, full of flavor, made with fresh ingredients and is vegan. Wonderful chili, soups and stews, lasagna, sweet potato and black beans over rice, chickpea salad, made to order fresh tossed salads, goulash, BBQ sandwiches and wraps, deli sandwiches, nachos and more. “Visiting Springfield for a couple of days and found myself at traveller's house. First their coffee is good. I usually just get plain lattes with extra shots. Taste of the coffee is phenomenal, amd not burn coffee taste. Then I decided to try their quiche. My mind was blown, crustless quiche wow. Tastes home made so I decided to stop a second time next day. Coffee even better than first day and tries a different quiche on the second day. Both days just awesome.“
“First off it's a very small shop and as you drive to the location it may look like it's not there. Well it is and it's delicious. I have attached photos which help for those who can really get a good visual of how they serve the food and the portions. It's more on the healthier side of things which I enjoy at times when you have been consuming butter and grease too often.“
