This was especially important to us when we recently chose to hold our wedding reception here. We are both very detail oriented and I can honestly say not one thing went unattended. “Great bar. Great people. Stopped in for a beer and when I went to leave, my bike battery was dead. The owner, even though he was locking up to go home, stayed and got me a charger and made sure my wife and I were safely back on the road. Going the extra mingle for sure. I will definitely be back.“

“I’ve been coming to this bar for years, as an Overland Park native. Even after my partner moved away from St. Joe, this bar is a staple. Enough cannot be said about Bridget and Curtis. These two are living saints. I’ve lived in the KC metro my entire life and never once have I encountered a bar quite like this. The vibe is reminiscent of going to your best friend’s house in the early 2000s to play games in the basement; mom has snacks. Really, it’s something special. There is a place here for everyone. Even if you don’t drink, or will never drink, you have a home here. This bar is THE best part of St. Joseph.“
