I come once a year to STL and Carmines is our first stop for dinner! steaks and cocktails on point! Old school service from valet to coat check. Love this place.
Went around 1930ish on a Tuesday. Place was pretty quiet, I was seated immediately. Service was very prompt, had warm bread and water on the table before I even knew what was happening. Server was great, no complaints at all. Food was good, I had the 10 oz filet mignon and a side of "potato of the day" which was essentially very fancy potatoes au gratin. Freshly ground black pepper was available and applied liberally. The steak was great, perfectly cooked to my liking(medium rare)....read full review
