HANDS DOWN THE BEST PIZZA IN ST. LOUIS.Apologies to St. Louis natives but this place puts everywhere else to shame in the city. The pizzas were all delicious, well seasoned and had perfect thin crust. I really enjoyed the eggplant pizza (Bonci) because it had such a good spicy level and was so unique. The Stracciatella was so fresh and the cheese was amazing. I liked it so much I went back a week after trying it the first time. I’m already planning my next dinner there.
Finally made it to Pizzeria de Gloria on the Hill, known for their wood fire pizza. It was a beautiful night, so we were able to sit on the patio, which was a nice vibe. I had a refreshing salad and we got the mushroom pizza . We subbed tomato sauce for the white wine lemon cream sauce. I did not know how I would like that, and I was NOT feeling adventurous enough to try. Plus, I was hungry! The pizza was really good, but salty.
