What's not to love about Steak and Shake? If you haven't been to one (or at least to this one) in a few years, be aware they now give you a receipt for your fountain drink that you must scan at the soda fountain that turns the thing on, which utterly confused us and most of the other diners that evening.
Not very efficient. Drive-thru worker seemed very, very stressed out. I asked a question about my order and got snapped at. Got to the window. No hello, no thank you. Just not pleasant at all. Perhaps the managers have understaffed this location, so it's extra annoying to work here. Not sure. I just spent my money to be treated less than nicely. Didn't help that I had to sit and wait after ordering. Not used to that at my usual Steak n Shake. Of course, this is my first...read full review

Nice location and clean. Kiosk was only way to order food. Glad the one kiosk accepted cash. Having been a car hop at Hampton Steak n Shake for 4 years in the late 60ys, I missed a waitress to take my order and serve the food. Enjoyed the old photos on the wall of past years in business. May have been me, I was number 22!
