“Food is great with size-able portions for sure. Great steaks and fish is what I've had there. Hush puppies are great and they are given as appetizers. The salad bar is splendid. The tea like country tea cold and smooth. I must say this place is one I can remark that you get your moneys worth in food. Service is good and they do a great job at moving customers in as quickly as possible by clearing used tables. The building is relatively small therefore there may be a slight wait but I assure you it will be worth it. Do yourself a huge favor and plan a meal here. You will not be disappointed. Country people with a country attitude friendly. On scale of 10 it's a 10 for sure.“
“Off the beaten path, this is a nice stop for pretty standard Southern diner food. Nice salad bar and the hamburger steaks we had were good. Service was fast and friendly. Owner and his wife work elsewhere and run this restaurant as a sideline. The restaurant has a railroad theme which is appropriate to celebrate the town's railroad history. Ramer was established along the Mobile and Ohio Railroad after it was built around 1856. The Mobile and Ohio at the time was the longest North-South Railroad in the continental United States. The Mobile and Ohio crossed the Memphis Charleston Railroad in the nearby town of Corinth, Mississippi and was a major military objective during the Civil War. History abounds in this part of the South and railroad memorabilia is a large part of the decor in the restaurant. A nice stop if you are passing this way. Comfortable benches line the front porch.“
“Place was wonderful and friendly, just a trucker got to go chicken Alfredo with the Cajun. That's where I went Wong. I don't complain about food but the salt content, I love salty, was so generous it was inedible I tried 3 times because I spent $30 and was starving from a long day couldn't consume just 50% salt haha. My fault though. Sides were good should've gone with beef that's my bad. Lesson learned for next time. Still will be back next time for some beef.“
“I've been eating at Russell's since around 1984. I don't live in the area but from 1984 until 1988 I had to travel thru Corinth once a month on business. I ALWAYS stopped in at Russell's to have a ribeye, fantastic homemade fries, and salad bar. I don't travel to Corinth as often as I once did but anytime I'm remotely close I stop by and have my usual meal. I've never been disappointed!! It's one of the best steaks in the south.Update 10-24-23: We were passing by Russell's on our way home so I took the wife out to eat. Needless to say she loved it. If you want a good steak you can't go wrong here! It's still just as good as it's ever been.“
