“Absolutely LOVE this place! The staff is friendly, nice atmosphere, cute and kitschy decor, and delicious food. One of the few places I've been where you can order liver and onions, which my mom loves. The burgers are freshly made and fabulous, and the Greek chicken is delish!!“
“The lady made me something that wasn't even on her menu "chicken and broccoli" this has impressed me that they would do something for a first time customer. They are willing to do something for a customer 5 stars is given. You all know as well, this doesn't happen often, at other restaurants.Don't take my word for it,come check them out and see if they can make something that you crave for.“
“Great food. Alligator tail appetizer was fabulous. Crawfish po boy was absolutely stuffed. Redfish salad was wonderful, nicely seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The view of the water feom the outside patio made the meal relaxing. Overall a great experience.“
“First time here. It was highly recommended. Lunch date with my daughter. Everything was wonderful. 1st crawfish of the season. So hot juicy and the right amount of spice.Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat red meat during lent so I opted out of the sausage. Got extra corn instead“
“Looking for hot, delicious seafood anyway you want it? THIS is the place! Get it blackened, grilled or fried. Daily specials and nice menu items as well. Today I got the fried triple tail with crinkle cut fries and coleslaw. Piping hot! Coleslaw was good too and I’m a bit of a coleslaw snob. Started out the meal with crispy fried green tomatoes. Best I’ve ever had. Hot and crunchy with a bit of tanginess. Seafood not your thing? They have sandwiches and salads as well. I was eyeballing their bread pudding with rum sauce or the key lime pie but just too full. Conveniently located in the downtown area not too far off of hwy 90. This is a smaller place and locally owned so give them a try.Parking: Open parking lot across from the restaurant. Very short walk.“
“It was a nice place to eat and 2 of us had the prime rib and said it was very good. The shrimp was smallish was my complaint and I don't see how that's possible when fresh medium shrimp is available for 5.99 a pound locally. It's one big one room with tables and a nice outside eating area too. It's right on the water, and the setting sun was nice.Service was adequate although my tea glass sat empty twice. I drink half and half and it just seems like I'm the last to get refilled everywhere. Waters and unsweetened teas were filled before empty.I'd definitely go again, but would likely try something else besides small shrimp.“
“Our recent visit to the restaurant on a bustling Friday night came with its share of anticipation, primarily due to the wait time we encountered upon arrival. Despite this, the experience we had was unequivocally worth every minute spent in anticipation. The array of flavors we were introduced to that evening was truly exceptional.Among the highlights of our meal were the CB Sushi rolls, which offered a delightful twist on traditional sushi, presenting a fusion of flavors that were both innovative and deeply satisfying. The Korean tacos were another standout, brilliantly marrying the bold flavors of Korean cuisine with the classic taco form in a way that was both surprising and utterly delicious. To top off an already memorable meal, the brownie ice cream dessert was simply divine, combining the warmth of a rich, gooey brownie with the cool, creamy texture of ice cream - a perfect end to a fantastic dining experience.Adding to the ambiance of the evening was the live music that filled the space, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. The musicians were incredibly talented, their performance enhancing our dining experience and contributing to a truly fantastic night out.In summary, the wait was a small price to pay for the culinary adventure we embarked upon. The combination of amazing food, lively music, and an overall vibrant atmosphere made our visit memorable. We are already looking forward to our next visit, eager to explore more of what this remarkable establishment has to offer.“
“Visited for lunch and had the shrimp po-boy along with fried tomatoes. I wanted the blackened snapper however they were out. Scranton's fried tomatoes have an option to include a gravy with mushrooms and shrimp. It's different but worth a try. Service was good and they were able to accommodate a large group for lunch during a very visit time. Kudos to the staff for getting us in and out.“
“We sought out a "local" place and this is the model for such a jewel. Very good buffet lunch choices with neighbors who work or maybe live in the area. Nice friendly banter. Terrific staff. Very fair pricing of fifteen dollars each for everything. It has a gravel drive and might look closed but it is not. Some of the customers reported driving quite a way just to eat there. We made a few efforts to find local places in our cross/country road trip and some fail, some and kinda ok and this was a real find!“
“The food and service was impeccable!!! The salad bar was the freshest I have ever seen. I first eat with my eyes and all the items were neat, chopped small and a wide variety to make a very tasty salad. The crab bite appetizer was so good. I had a baked potato which was a perfectly cooked spud and so good. My husband had fish filet platter and he said everything was outstanding. Our server was so attentive and sweet. Hope we make it back this way to enjoy again! Great place!“
“The fried green tomatoes are literally the best I’ve ever had! I’ve had them a few times now, and they are consistent! BUT this is not gumbo??♀️ there is no juice in this thing at all. It’s got waaaaaay too much rice! Was very disappointed because I’ve had the gumbo next door at Bozos Grocery, and their gumbo was amazing! Thought it would be the same, if not close:/“
“We have been going to this restaurant since it opened in Gautier, followed them to Pascagoula, and still go now they are back in Gautier. Service and food are amazing. I get the whole fried flounder every time. My grandparents get the catfish. You can tell their food is FRESH seafood. Today as a side I offered the veggies which were griled and seasoned to perfection. The sweet potato casserole melted in your mouth. Flounder was amazing as usual. Our server we patient with our questions, extremely attentive, made sure we were happy and drinks stayed full. Also prebussed the table. Always impressed with this restaurant. You would think at least one visit would have to be just ok but every time it's the very best experience. Love love this local restaurant ❤️“
