Spot on bbq and consistent. Whole chicken and brisket are my top picks. Bbq beans are awesome and the turnip greens are the best I’ve ever had. Roses deserves five stars in all areas.
I was visiting home and came across this place and the sweet smell of BBQ drew me in and I'm glad it did. The inside was a little crowded but the wait was short and the ladies behind the counter were very friendly and pleasant. I had the rib plate with potato salad and baked beans. The ribs were big and juicy and so good. The sides were very tasty also. Didn't get the cakes but they looked good too. Will definitely try it again when I come back to Hattiesburg

The ribs were perfect! Not cooked to mush or "fall of the bone". The brisket was excellent too. Turnip greens were seasoned well. Not a big fan of the cole slaw or baked beans. Only minor complaint was they got the sides wrong. Not a big deal.This is the best bbq I've had in years, besides my own.
