The service was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We enjoyed the experience, not to mention that the ambiance was relaxing and beautiful. “This place was recommended to us when we first moved to Mississippi two years ago. Just getting around to trying it out. And it did not disappoint. I had the filet special which was a 6oz filet on top of a portobello mushroom and topped with crab meat in a cream sauce. It was awesome. We had Christian as our waiter and he was great. Will definitely ask for him next time. Wine and drinks and dessert were also wonderful.“

We just had my husbands birthday supper there with most of our family and everyone loved it.The food we had are as followsPrime Rib, New York Strip Steak, Hamburger Steak, Red Fish, Ribeye Steak, Mac n Cheese, Au gratin Potatoes, regular garden salad and ceaser salad, broccoli, twice baked potatos and crawfish tails. “The steak at Ticos was cooked to a perfect medium rare. I enjoyed it very much, but the steak was a bit too big for me and I couldn't finish everything. The service and ambience were also very good.There is a star deduction due to the price. I think $8 for fries is quite high.I would love to come back on my next business trip.“
“Madison Location-Food: The salmon was phenomenal, as usual. However, the rice pilaf was horrible. It was sweet, instead of having the normal herbal flavor. Additionally, it was cold. The caesar salad was overly covered in dressing.Service: Chris was just okay--not attentive.Atmosphere: The wait was close to an hour (the norm), even though tables were available. I assume the restaurant was short on servers. That reflects a few things: management issues, lack of staffing flexibility, or low pay.You'll get good food, but you will have to wait for it!“
