“My husband and I love coming here to celebrate special occasions. We also make reservations every time. The food is always amazing! Excellent selection of wine. The oysters were fresh and delicious! I ordered the duck confit and my husband ordered the steak frites medium rare. Everything was cooked perfectly! The carrot thunder cake had excellent flavor and different textures. Also as someone with celiac they have many celiac safe options and are very educated on how to prepare celiac safe meals!”

“We walked in only to find out that they did reservations. We were lucky when the waiter found out that someone canceled their reservation so the waiters let us come in.

Service was great and the waiters did a good job checking up on us and filling our waters.

The wait time for our food was around 20-30 minutes. The Rigatoni pasta was decent but was a bit bland especially for the price. The tiramisu was good and not too sweet but looked really sad presentation wise.

The atmosphere was amazing and I was shocked as to how nice the building was when I first walked in.

The parking lot was full so many people ended up parking on the side of the road or across the street.

I’ll definitely come back and when I do, I’ll definitely try something else.”

“We are pho connesuers and even make our own at home. We try pho as often as we can from as many different restaurants as we can find. For pho in Missoula, this is the place! Every item we've ordered from the menu is superb every time. My personal favorites are the imperial rolls and the house special pho (#19). This is always our go to place for lunch. The prices are great as well!

Kid-friendliness: I have brought my eight year old, my twelve year old, and my seventeen year old. They were all treated very well and found items they really enjoyed on the menu.”

“This was my first visit to this location. It was after the normal lunch crowd, so I had a great choice of tables. They have two fireplaces available to sit near for a cozy meal. The pork sandwich was delicious, and the fries were perfect. The server was right there whenever I needed a drink refill. It was a very nice dining experience.”

Today was extra special… there was only one employee mani g the store when normally there are three. My friend and I thought we would have to wait quite some time for our ice cream. Anna, the only employee there, was incredible!!! Despite being the only one there, she ROCKED IT LIKE A PRO!! She services everyone quickly, positively, professionally, and gave all of us a great experience!!! She deserves a raise or bonus!!!”

“I love coming here and while there are pizza is absolutely amazing. I actually order a sandwich every time I come there. I love their focaccia sandwich. They use fresh ingredients and their bread is wonderful. It comes alongside olive salad and chips. I consider it a large portion and I always take half of the sandwich home and eat it the next day. I have always received great service when coming here and yesterday my server was Hannah or so the ticket said and she did a wonderful job.”

“My friend was in town and we decided to try this place out! From the moment we walked through the door, we loved the ambiance and felt welcomed by staff. We went in at about 5:45pm and there were a handful of other patrons, but plenty of barstools available for seating. We were given menus immediately and were not rushed to order. I didn't catch our bartender's name, but they were very kind and had some super cool glasses! We each ordered a cocktail and then we ordered three small plates--croquettas (croquettes), ensalada tomate (marinated tomato/onion/olive salad), and the pan con tomate (toast with tomato). The croquettas were our favorite! My friend had the Little Birdy cocktail which was fruity and refreshing. I can't find the name of the one I ordered on their menu online but it had Sevilla orange gin, lemon and a few other ingredients. It was equally delicious and refreshing and I loved the presentation of the cocktails. Our subtotal was $35, which we felt was fair for the drinks and food we ordered. It was $10 per cocktail and a total of $15 for the three pintxos. I will definitely return to Bar Plata soon and would recommend it to Missoula residents and visitors!

Vegetarian options: Some of the small plates are vegetarian and I believe the sandwich (bocadillo) may be as well but I would always recommend confirming with your bartender!

Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten and dairy free options! I did not ask about their procedures for allergies or cross contamination so definitely check with staff before ordering!”

“Never been there, but I just tried their instant organic coffee!!! I bought it at a local store in Oregon. Wow!!!! I mean how did they get instant so smooth? I bought this box of packets months ago and was hesitant to try it because I thought it would be like all the others. You know? Where you tolerate them on a trip because you can’t get organic everywhere. But no!!! I’m going to their website right now to order packets for travel and home and just because they make life simpler with no guilt! ❤️”
