Laurie and Peyton were wonderful, ensuring that we felt at home and among friends, as always at the The Keep. Our dinner items were, as usual, properly prepared, nicely plated, and delicious. We will continue to be "frequent flyers" at this local treasure.”

“Yummy ice cream near restaurants, bars and camps for when you get the chilly munchies. Great flavors (had huckleberry and salted caramel), old-school walk-up ordering at the window with picnic tables to sit and enjoy the treats.
Can get really busy in the evenings, but liner moves fast and with the wait! 🍨”

“I’m visiting from out of town for work and met a group of coworkers here for dinner. The ambiance was nice! The staff were so friendly! I got the warm kale salad and it was amazing. We also got a pazooki and it was so yummy! They also had a great beer and wine menu too. Will definitely comeback next time I’m in town!”

“The ice cream is phenomenal!!! The original creations and the classic ice creams are so good that I have a hard time deciding what to get!! I love going there. Today was extra special… there was only one employee mani g the store when normally there are three. My friend and I thought we would have to wait quite some time for our ice cream. Anna, the only employee there, was incredible!!! Despite being the only one there, she ROCKED IT LIKE A PRO!! She services everyone quickly, positively, professionally, and gave all of us a great experience!!! She deserves a raise or bonus!!!”

“Really great, delicious, authentic food. One of the best you can probably get put here in Montana. Tacos are spendy for serving portion. Burritos seem to be priced the same as other burritos around town but haven’t ordered that before so I’ll have to get that next time.”

Mexican Moose has become one of my go-to spots in Missoula. The tacos are packed with flavor and taste super fresh, especially the carne asada and the barbacoa. I really appreciate the late night hours and the friendly service every time I’ve gone. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and the homemade salsas are 🔥 (watch out for the red one, it’s spicy!). Highly recommend checking them out if you’re craving authentic, no frills Mexican food.”

“Never been there, but I just tried their instant organic coffee!!! I bought it at a local store in Oregon. Wow!!!! I mean how did they get instant so smooth? I bought this box of packets months ago and was hesitant to try it because I thought it would be like all the others. You know? Where you tolerate them on a trip because you can’t get organic everywhere. But no!!! I’m going to their website right now to order packets for travel and home and just because they make life simpler with no guilt! ❤️”

The space is elevated yet cozy. The drinks match the vibe, and will please any service industry and patron alike. From the well to signature cocktails, all will come and be satisfied. The menu, unstoppable. It was such a satisfying array of flavors, presentations, and combinations. I can’t speak highly enough about the tapas menu hitting the spot. The bar ware is super cute and makes you want to put it in your pocket but the staff and overall vibe keeps you from putting it in your pocket… 10 out of 10”

It had a strong flavor..it seemed like thai basil..which is fine and now I see a lot of people enjoy it, but it might be good to know that before paying $15 for it. My kiddo is newly gluten free/dairy free and was disappointed to say the least.”

“This place was recommended for a great breakfast by the nearby hotel we were staying at. What a great experience, the food and coffee were delicious, filling and reasonably priced!! I am celiac and was hesitant to order any food but the owner said he was celiac and went the extra mile to prepare a gluten free breakfast scramble! It was amazing! So good we went back the next morning and would have gone the 3rd day but they are closed on Sundays.”

A bit hard to locate if you’re just walking along the street - we passed by it several times since there’s really no noticeable sign out front. Cash only, so plan accordingly but definitely with a visit!”

“Very friendly, our food came very quickly for as busy as it was. The older lady in black who was cleaning the tables and floors was very friendly and quick to make sure we sat at a clean table and that our floor area was clean. She didn’t only do that with us but was just as friendly to all the customers. We got up to leave and she held the door open for us and thanked us and told us to have a great day. We will be back!!!”

“I came here at 9 o’clock on Saturday, when the regular crowd usually arrives. I sat next to the piano where this guy, Billy something, was between songs and ordered my usual gin and tonic. I started French kissing the glass, to be honest I was a little hammered.
I says to the guy, “Son, can you play me a memory”. Being all cryptic and stuff, but I wasn’t really sure how it went. I think it was sad and sweet, and I knew it complete, when I was younger.

Then John walked in, and be bought this piano man’s drinks for free. I was a bit jealous of that. He was pretty witty and also was smoking for some reason, didn’t think that was allowed. But then he walks over to Billy, and says to the guy, he says “BILL I BELIEVE THIS IS KILLING ME”. Pretty shocking stuff. He started ranting on about how we wanted to be some big Hollywood big shot fella.
Paul was there too, rich real-estate fella, and Davy from the navy, and the waitress was super political for some reason, but “based” as the kids say these days.
There was this business fella in a suit who I’m pretty sure was high, and all of these fellas were putting bread, like loaves and slices and rolls and stuff, into this jar on the piano. I didn’t really understand that but I’m sure it’s a Missoula thing.”

They are more interested in visiting amongst themselves about events and people. Slow night yet register was closed forcing use of the kiosk. From out of town just passing through but I won’t be stopping by this location anytime soon.”

“I've been coming here for 30 years. Foe practically the whole time they've been open. I love it here! A lot. I recently had a coffee card debacle after they made a little mix up. They remedied it quickly, after I explained. I did it this month for reasons. Still. LOVE this place. They do it right. Every single time.”

“Food was good, staff was friendly. The seating area and what I could see of the kitchen appears to be clean. Bagels are about $2.50 each, and most sandwiches are over $10. The have the full range of coffee drinks and teas. The water dispenser was empty and there weren't any cups left, so I had to ask, but no big deal. Several vegetarian options. Comfortable seating area. Worth a try if you are in the area.”
