All of the bartenders are so lovely and sweet, especially Kal !!! No matter what I can count on the staff here to make me feel welcome and safe. I've been coming to this bar for years, and I'll be coming back forever! Most caring, badass bartenders in this town <3p.s. kal plays the best music :o
I rate UC very highly, with one caveat for anyone with a neurological or neuromuscular disability. It is the contemporary reincarnation of the Top Hat of the 70s. It is a union bar and part of the labor temple. It has a diverse crew and very diverse clientele. The daily food specials are made on site and are delicious. Great bands on Fridays & Saturdays. It is wheelchair accessible and the establishment is ADA-compliant other than discriminating against people with narcolepsy....read full review

Quick bite before a show. Was exactly what we all didn't know we wanted. Due to long wait lines elsewhere, we decided to try Union Club. We were not disappointed. Will be back the next time in town.
