“Great home cooking. Good service. Country cooked vegetables. Excellent rolls. Tea is great. They are busy but service is good. Reliable stop fo a nice square meal. "Jed" is busy behind the scenes making sure everything is quality. I know from being the Pastor at Sawyersville Wesleyan, that they do a great to go, catered job too! Solid 4.0. Probably more of a 4.2 or 4.3. It is on my list of local faves, in Asheboro. Parking is a little tight. Give yourself and them a break, ... & come a little before or after major meals times, for a better experience..“

“The food is always good and the customer service is even better! My husband loves their Brunswick Stew and Baked Beans w/Hush Puppies. The stew is a little sweet, which my husband loves, but I add a little Frank's hot sauce to cut the sweet and to spice it up a bit. He also can't resist their Cobbler for dessert, especially the cherry. In the fall and winter we usually go at least twice a month for the Brunswick Stew. Yum!“

“Quaint little place in downtown Asheboro. From walking and feeling like family to mouth watering bbq and great daily specials, you should stop here!2 hot dogs fries and a drink special was worth it! I’m overly full and I can eat a heavy portion. Homemade slaw and bbq sauce lip smack in good. Bbq sauce is a sweet vinegar runny sauce but has a nice bite at the end.Stop in and enjoy a delicious, inexpensive home cooked meal!“

“Honestly, the best thing about my experience was the waitress. I didn't think to catch her name, but she was on top of getting our drinks and food ordered, keeping an eye on our drinks while we ate, and she was just very nice/polite.The food was pretty good, everything was reasonably priced, and it's at a decent location (you guessed it) on 64.I got a burger (can't remember what it was called) and fries, and it was definitely worth it. I will be eating here again :)“
