“The 5 star reviews are well deserved. So glad we had a chance to try La Escondidita Mexican Kitchen while passing through Asheboro and can't wait for the next opportunity to try other items from their menu. Food was authentic, made to order, and now one of my new top 5 Mexican restaurants. Vibrant, compact setting is a great description for this place, and the service was on point.“

“Overall good experience. The food is typical of what you’d expect from classic Americanized Mexican, they are very liberal with the cheese in a good way. The cocktails were great and reasonably priced with a large assortment of tequilas as well as variety of your normal liquors. The atmosphere is intimate and fun with lots of color. The staff was friendly and pretty easy to get access to. Will definitely be back when I want a good drink and a light snack.“

“Yesterday we had our first meal here, and we know it is the first of many. First I have to say the salsa is scrumptious. One of us had the Chicken Fajitas and felt it was one of the best ever. I had the California Chicken Burrito, and it was exceptional. The atmosphere is a beautiful blend of neutral walls, wooden beams and large windows with beautiful Mexican art work. It feels up to date and welcoming while not being predictable or kitchie. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Tres Garcias did not disappoint, and we will definitely be dining there regularly. Enjoy!“

“The food here is very fresh, the cilantro tastes like it was picked just before it was served or used in a dish, the staff is (On Point)Our waiter took all our orders with no notepad and got everyone's order correct.I will most definitely be back. The flavor of the dishes were phenomenal! To say the least.“
“El Club Mexicano puts out a wide range of merchandise. Much of it is for eating like candy, snacky stuff like pistachios and chile flavored peanuts and such. They also put out little packages or toys. Nothing really collector worthy but it should keep the tots contained for a little while. They also make all kinds of Latino ingredients for various kinds of dishes. Chile powder, dried chiles and so many more! Nice variety! Definitely get the chile powder if you are making chili soup, it will give it a nice kick and won't taste stale much unlike the watered down version that you find in jars down the spice aisle.“

“Seems to be rather authentic Mexican food, so for people accustomed to American food, some menu items can be a hit or miss. It was a nice experience and the second time I came, I found the sincronizadas were really good. Will surely be going back.“

“I stopped by to park up for the night and do my 10hr reset across the street. Walked over and tried this place on a whim and oh my goodness… the food was literally the best I ever had. The empanadas with all the toppings was so good. Hell I haven’t even finished half of it and I’m full. Genuinely great value for money and amazing food.Seriously pull over and try them out. Also the horchata is real good.“

“I forgot to leave a review last time I was here so I'm going to do it before I finish eating this time. This place is AWESOME. I'd pick this place over Moe's or Chipotle hundred times out of a hundred. The food is all so fresh and delicious and the portions are HUGE. This is our go to spot when we are in Ashboro. Highly recommended!“
