“We drive a hour and a half to come eat at Mountain Holler and it's well worth the drive. Everything we've tried here is Great (shrimp, ribs, cheese fries, salads)!! The ribeye steaks are our favorite entree on the menu. They're tender, juicy and full of flavor. Our compliments to the chef! Oh, I have to also mention the apple dumpling, it's so delicious! Even though we're stuffed, we end up sharing the dumpling. Their prices are very reasonable too. The only thing that could make this restaurant better is if it was closer to our house. ?”

“Amazing burger, friendly host, quick service, good value! Nothing to complain about here. I got the double bacon burger, and will definitely get the same thing next time :) Can't go wrong for $8. I regret not getting a piece of the red velvet cheesecake, it looked to die for. Apparently they don't have it often, so take advantage if you are so fortunate! (visited a week ago)”

“We stopped in for lunch and ordered chopped steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was good, the hamburger was medium and the mashed potatoes were great. We also ordered a burger, that was good with French fries. We also ordered the triple decker sandwich and tater tots all was good. The best was the milk shake. Vanilla with Oreos, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Prices were great and if we are in the area again we will stop by! Thank you!”

“This was my first time eating there, and now I'm a fan. I've tried a lot of different restaurant biscuits and gravy over the years, and I believe theirs is probably the best. I'm not a local (anymore), but all of my family members are. When I asked where I should get breakfast, they automatically said, "we'll meet you at Mammie's, you'll like it". They were right, I did like it! The waitress was also very friendly and attentive (to all of her customers there).Parking: Gravel parking lot, pharmacy next door may allow for extra parking space if needed, but I'm not sure.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a nice ramp beside of the steps.”

“If I could leave 100 stars I would! This place is a gem! The people are always so friendly and the food/drinks are amazing! A few of their top items sell out fast, like their potato soup! I’m going to have to come super early to be able to try some but I know it will be worth it! Wonderful place, terrific food & lovely atmosphere!”

“BEST Cuban Sandwich that is big & thick with pork, ham, cheese, pickles, and mustard. Delicious, moist, and juicy. Served with chips, salsa, and a side (coleslaw, 3 bean or cucumber salad). The sandwich was large enough to split. We chose to dine outside on a beautiful breezy day (inside & carry-out also available). Large menu with copious options. Closed Sunday's otherwise opened from 11:30am-7 or 7:30pm. Highly recommend.Parking: Free parking lot on lower street with stairs or walking along the road. Limited street parking, but if you are picking up food, there are 2 designated spots right in front of Tropical Grill.”

“Nice place with pleasant and attentive service. There is an option of patio (enclosed/heated for the winter) or indoor. We had the hushpuppies, burger and the chicken & shrimp pasta and all three were very good. Stop by and check them out if you are in the area. Parking is also plentiful in the area.”

“Enjoyed an early dinner here today. My dining partner and I split a double cheeseburger and a basket of the Sidewinder fries. The burger was big and fries portion most generous. She is a very light eater, but we finished it all! And loved, loved the Sidewinders. Burger was maybe a bit overdone, but still hit the spot with sloppy deliciousness. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and ample beer choices.”

“A cute little cafe that we been to several times passing through Burnsville. We stopped by for takeout breakfast this time. The wrap and bagel sandwich were delicious! We had to wait for a while for them though.”

“I find any excuse possible to eat here when I'm in Burnsville. The drinks, menu, and the walls/ whole place is superior to any place around here. Service is really good or really slow depending on how many people they have working, that's it's only fault I can come up with. Cool history of the name, also.I'm definitely trying the Category 5 next time, and I hope it's like the Lt. Dan vs the ocean hurricane scene.”

“We've eaten here several times and everything has been very good. It has two sides to the menu--one is Thai and one is sushi. We have only tried to Thai menu, but it is excellent. The portions are generous, the quality is high, and it's very tasty. The ambiance and service are good as well. The hours are a little strange, opening at 2pm on Saturdays. The sign says they close at 8pm, but we heard them telling people at 7:20 that they were doing take out only, so get there before 7pm to be sure you can dine in.”

“Saw this place after three hours on the road and glad we stopped. Sign was in a cutesy font that I read as Carson Daly, so I knew I was in for a treat. Solid food, a little on the higher price point, and coleslaw comes with everything if that's your thing. But so do pickle spears, so I can forgive that transgression. FYI Pepsi products (ew). Standard kids menu. Really cool patio with bramble and vine growing over a wooden shady pergola. Laid back patio and the weather was tip top. Ample, close parking right on the square. Waitresses look like they've been there since day one.Kid-friendliness: Gumball machines out the wazoo.”

“The Dispensary is a fantastic spot! I truly enjoyed listening to the live music on Friday night. I wasn't sure what I wanted to sip on that night. Barbara was so kind and let me pick a drink from her cocktail book. The drink was so tasty and exactly what I was hoping for. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy.”

“Little Tokyo is a splendid little joint that serves Chinese food pretending to be Japanese food. It is nestled in a lovely strip mall next to a Roses, a Burger King, and a Sav-Mor grocery, which gives it a touch of class. The restaurant is simple and cozy, with just a few tables, a calendar, and a counter open to the kitchen. The staff are polite and swift, and the food is served in copious portions. The menu features a variety of dishes, from hibachi to sesame chicken to hot and sour soup. The prices are moderate, and the health score is 91 out of 100, which is admirable for a place that claims to be Japanese but is actually Chinese. The food is quite agreeable, if you enjoy steamed rice with soy sauce, sugary orange chicken, and crisp vegetables with tangy sauce. The hot and sour soup is especially good, as it has a pleasant contrast of flavours and textures. The hibachi is also satisfying, as it has a nice mix of meat and vegetables with a savoury sauce. The sesame chicken and the orange chicken are both delicious, as they are sweet and tender, and have a crunchy coating.Little Tokyo is an excellent place to eat if you are in Burnsville and have a fancy for Chinese food masquerading as Japanese food. It is authentic enough to fool your taste buds, and tasty enough to please your stomach. It is a place to impress your date or celebrate a special occasion, as it is romantic and festive. It is a place to praise or recommend to your friends, as it is unique and memorable. It is a place to remember or revisit, as it is wonderful and addictive.”
“I’m surprised by the negative reviews I’ve seen. We had an excellent experience here! We came in on a Saturday night and we’re sat and waited on right away. We ordered the Mr. Salmon roll, spring rolls, crab rangoons, green curry with tofu, and Thai basil stir fry. All exceeded expectations! The sushi was fresh and a good size. Spring rolls came with 4 perfectly crisp rolls. Crab rangoons were small and crispy but a lot were served. Our server gave us a good explanation of the spice level and our entrees were perfectly spicy. I always get green curry tofu at Thai places and usually they skimp on the tofu and vegetables but not here! Servers were very prompt and friendly and our food came out fast. I’m glad we have a Thai place in the area. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Had the Rueben sandwich and was delighted with it! The waitress was incredibly sweet and kind. I will say the atmosphere gave “haven’t been updated in decades” vibes but that was what we were looking for that day. Overall good place for simple comfort foods.”

“Great bbq with lots of flavor that didn’t even need sauce. Catfish and short ribs were excellent. Loved the sweet potato fries and the home fries. There are specials every night with good value. We like the home town feel of City Drive-in and the old-timey “drive-in” is pretty cool.”

“A life saver after a cold wet night on Table Mountain. Excellent Birria Tacos and Tacos de Asada, a little out of the way but it is well worth the trip for the friendly staff and enjoying some quality authentic Mexican food!”

“They're all so nice. I recently had a problem with my wrap and they replaced the whole meal. I didn't expect that. They go the extra mile for their customers. I love ❤️ how they're dog friendly too. I'll be back often.”
