“Folk at work said this place had roaches. I tend to not believe what people say so I've been here a few times and the food has been great and affordable. The customer service is dry and the decor is super outdated but I'm not dining in.“

“Great craft distillery! I went in right before close and was treated to a tasting of some great bourbons. The Uber driver that dropped me off didn't know this place even existed; I don't understand why. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and the grounds are great. Even if you're somewhat in the area, I would stop here and at least do a tasting.“

“I have been here several times with my friends and colleagues. We have lunch party with my colleagues many times they provided free dessert. The quality of the food is good (both veg and nonveg). Lavina (staff of the restaurant) was excellent with both her recommendations and service. I strongly recommend this restaurant for lunch/dinner.“

“Husband had three of the tacos: asada, birria, and chorizo, and according to him all three were really good. Only the birria was served with two tortillas, but the single tortilla-tacos held up, even with a liberal dose of the two salsas provided. My son had the pollo asado taco, and he rated it 4.5 out of 5 (he's 6 and he's never given something a 5/5, so this is an excellent rating for him). I had the plain quesadilla, because there aren't a lot of vegetarian options, but the acid/heat of the green salsa helped cut through the fat nicely. The horchata was nice and thick, and piña wasn't too sweet. Overall, I would be happy to return.“

“One of the best atmospheres in Durham. I moved here, did not know a soul, and have made some of the best friends I’ve ever had in my life thanks to this establishment. The staff is wonderful, and I always feel like I belong. They know a ton of the patrons by name making it a very comforting environment. The ciders are fantastic, and for those who aren’t as inclined to ciders, there are plenty of other drinks like pilsners, ipas and cocktails.“

Also there are tortillas, cheeses, fruits and veggies. There is a restaurant with a lot of options, I have tried just tamales and they are really good!“

“Koki is a lovely restaurant in downtown Durham just steps away from all you could need. The atmosphere was inviting and fun loving. The menu provided great options (including vegan and vegetarian options). I tried a little bit of everything, including their FANTASTIC empanadas, dessert pastries, and tostones. I would highly recommend to anyone in the mood for authentic Puerto Rican food or just good food in general.“

“Two Sundays in a row. EXCELLENT. Ordered spicy pork fried rice and got exactly that. Also ordered shredded pork today. Fantastic. Prices and portions also excellent. Wife loves the pad thai. More Malaysian style pad thai but fantastic. LOVE this place. HIGHLY recommend! ?“

“I get lunch here often and it is always delicious. They got fat pre-inflation eggrolls and their pork fried rice is on point. Highly recommend the Shrimp and Chinese Vegetable and the Hunan Chicken, their brown and fermented black bean sauce is killer. Cash only and there is almost always someone asking for money outside but everyone has been real chill. Takeout only as well, no indoor seating.“

“This is by far my favorite place in Durham!! I try to go here at least once a week, but I definitely go once a month. The service is great, I have yet to run out of sweet tea in my glass!! The food is warm and oh so good! I have a 3 plate system to get the most for my money. 1st plate is get a little bit of all my favorites. DON'T PILE YOUR PLATE HIGH!!! 2nd plate would be to try new things (I've tried everything, so I use this one for seafood), and the 3rd plate is a mixture of seafood and my favorites that I want to eat again before I leave.Vegetarian options: They do have selections of rice, noodles, and greens.Parking: The parking lot is huge. If you can't find parking then you shouldn't be driving! I've seen it packed, but I have never seen it so full that there was no parking. And that's more of a testament to how BIG the lot is.Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there's a wheelchair ramp to get on the sidewalk. There are 2 double door entrances before you enter the restaurant. Unless you have a big body chair then there is plenty of space to maneuver your chair in the seating area, as well as in the food area.“

“A part of my order was not delivered, although I ordered on their direct website. when I called to ask for a refund, I was told that they would not do so because they are only responsible for making the food. Noone offered to contact the driver service to rectify. Instead, when I mentioned that I could only choose to not use the restaurant again, I was laughed at. Very unfortunate. I used to greatly enjoy this location. UPDATE: The restaurant reached out, apologized, and are doing what they can to make it right. I appreciate the follow up, and I totally will go back. The food is good, and they are one of the few places in that part of Durham that isn't a chain.“

“Anytime. I'm in Durham, North Carolina. I stopped here. They have the best steak and cheese sandwiches and their pizza is amazing with fresh sauce and fresh cheese and the people are so friendly and they give you sample sometimes they want to keep you business and they're wonderful “
